until all the impatient plebs who keep pestering the guy who made looksmenu to update his mod stop pestering him because he wont update it until he stops getting DM's from them. i just hope i can use this correctly
When Faceripper does its thing, it has to go somewhere to find all it's information for hair, eyes, colors, etc. I know it can get pulled from a save file, but where exactly does it find this info? The reason I ask is I'm having issues of Faceripper not transferring all information over to a plugin. Mainly colors for makeup. I can input this info manually into FO4Edit, but Looksmenu doesn't give me number values, just slider bars so I'm left guessing my RGB colors and values.
So yeah, where is Faceripper looking exactly to get its information from the player face and can I access that info? I've tried looking through FO4Edit for player information, but couldn't find anything.
If skin color and makeup don't appear correctly in-game: 1. Enter the LooksMenu (console: slm 14). 2. Move the cursor over the neck and enter the skin color menu. 3. Do not accept a change, just move the selection to another color. 4. The face should update all at once with the correct skin color and makeup. 5. Back out, exit the Looks Menu, and save your game.
Appreciated, I thought I had read all of the front page steps. Guess that's what I get for getting too concentrated on trying to fix something.
Update: yeah those steps didn't help/resolve issue. Could possibly be an issue with looks menu. Looking in FO4Edit, all the RGB values are 0 after a face rip.
i have a weird one lately where when i create a character in the new game character creator screen (that was redundant to type) when i overwrite someone (last test was glory in RRHQ) they always output with lipstick on. i usually run my characters pretty realistic so its kinda weird when someone is all dirty and fucked up and they just have peach lipstick on haha.
otherwise everything else transfers fine as far as i can tell.
It's working! I transfer character look from Gorgeous Vaultgirl (Vault Exit Version) save file to my save created immediately after character creation. I plan to play F4 with achievements, so I couldn't use the preset mod.
I've been told this program doesnt work after a certain Creation Club update. I used this program to make a huge NPC overhaul, but now all of a sudden the same steps I did are no longer working and I am getting this error. Does anyone know a fix to this? This is really unfortunate if this program is now broken, I don't know what else to use in order to make all my NPC edits inside my plugin.
Wanting to come play fallout 4 again and this was the first mod I feared would be broken because of the update, it was so good, hoping resaver in fact works

Been trying for hours to have a fix in case I mess up an NPC face in my gameplay save,

Using the wonderful ReSaver program. Any save you attempt to extract faces from. Will not work if you have more than 255+ plugins loaded.
Simply disable enough plugins until you can work on your characters. And it should prompt DONE as normal
