A material/texture optimization/upgrade in the weapon workbench, is what should've been in vanilla, like a simple retexture or replacer for those @ass ugly pipe guns. I tend to go more commando/run and gun, but a I will probably install this mod, it looks really neat.
Idk maybe it's only happen to me or anyone has the same problem, this esp still count in load order even it's mark esl.but overall this teaxture it's damn to good. Good job.
Love this retexture, I only wish I could get it working with See Through Scopes mod. ( The reticle textures are missing) any advice on how I could patch it myself?
A much needed visual overhaul of this awesome, but -in vanilla- pug-ugly weapon. Now moving on to the gauss cover-penetration mod^^. Thumbs up & thank you!
Oh god, finally. I love that gun but I HATE that I feel like I'm walking around shooting people with a gutted, rusty refrigerator on a stick. I actually bought the CC Gauss Prototype mod just because I hated it that much. These, however, look beautiful.
This has quickly become my favorite texture for my favorite weapon. I keep hoping someone will recreate the Presidential Paint from F76, but it doesn't seem like anybody's interested in that. But at least this is close!
When I installed this I got hit with Nostalgia. Looking at this reminded me of playing Fallout New Vegas way back when, installing Millenia's weapon retextures for the first time and thinking they just looked *right.* They were the Correct, ultimate appearance of that weapon, each release the canonical, truest interpretation of the weapon in my mind- except his .45 Auto and Sequoia for nitpicky reasons but I digress.
This looks right, you brought the model to life with this.
I eschew the shield and capacitor boosting coil for aesthetic reasons, though your interpretations of them are a massive improvement on their vanilla appearance.
I highly recommend pairing this with Gauss Rifle Remastered for a far more satisfying experience with your Gauss Rifle.
Hello! I have a question related to compatibility between your fantastic mod here and Valdacils Item Sorting + DEF_UI. I installed this mod onto my current save and noticed that once I eventually found a Gauss Rifle, it did not have the inventory icon when using VIS + DEF_UI with one another. Knowing this is a retexture, would there still be a conflict I may be unaware of? The only conflict I had in xEdit was with AWKCR and once patched, it made no difference in terms of the icon appearing. I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!
There might be a small conflict. This modifies the base weapon record sadly as this is the only way to add the right keyword for weapon skins to be swapped. You could patch the two with xEdit or load Valdacils Item Sorting after this mod (you might lose the ability to swap skins).
Thank you for the response! I attempted to patch all the conflicts shown in xEdit, except they did not make a difference in terms of its relative icon showing. For experimental purposes, I may move this mod higher in my Load Order so it is overwritten by Valdacils Item Sorting to see if it makes a difference. I will post the result! Unfortunately, if it works, I will not be able to make this change on my current save to avoid any borking of the Load Order.

Great job!
Thanks for helping me decide.
Thanks much, this is an extremely well-done mod!
