    It works in 1.9.6, here are the instructions:

    1) download the mod
    2) go to your "KingdomComeDeliverance" game folder (mine is SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/KingdomComeDeliverance)
    3) Open or Create a folder named "Mods"
    4) Create a folder named "slp" and open it
    5) Create a folder named "data" and open it
    6) Open the mod you downloaded and drag the "zzz_tyd_SLP.pak?" file into the folder you just created
    7) Rename "zzz_tyd_SLP.pak?" to "SLP.pak"
    8) Go back into the "Mods/slp" folder (you should see the "data" folder)
    9) Right click in the folder, Click "New" -> "New Text Document" and name the text file "mod.manifest"
    10) Open that file with notepad, and copy the contents below into it
    <?xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"?>
    <kcd_mod>

      It also works if you add the mod via the KCDTweak's ModMerger component without having to rename anything.

      Hi.

      I did it as you described but it still doesn`t work. I`m an it engineering in training and so my question ist: Do you men Notepad++? Or do you just mean notepad as a normal windows editor feature?

      Generally, you can use both notepad++ (which I personally would recommend) or the normal notepad. Notepad++ simply is "coding friendlier". Functionally, it doesn't make a difference for this file, I think.

      Thanks! Works fine for me.

      @Zonsa: Make sure that in folder view options you have 'Hide extensions for known file types' unticked so you're definitely overwriting the text filetype and not just saving it as mod.manifest.txt

      I created the mod.manifest file in the mods\slp folder, containing exactly the text in this post. However, the lock picking in the game is unchanged. Is there something else that has to be done to activate the mod? I'm using Vortex for my other KCD mods, so I don't know if that affects this mod.

      rosariochuu; Should be mod.manifest, no txt. Txt at end makes it a text file. manifest at end makes it a manifest file. You want a manifest file.

      I don't know why I can't 'kudos' this. These instructions work to get the mod installed and operational. I was able to follow them without much trouble at all.

      The mod itself is useless for most people without this post detailing how to install the mod. We'd never even know if it's a good mod or not.

      That said, I still can't pick the locks. It's gamebreaking for me. I absolutely loathe the mini game, and have no idea what it wants.

      If you want vortex to handle everything else, make an archive out of the slp folder and add it into vortex.

      It works in today's versoon, here are the instructions:

      1) download the mod
      2) go to your "KingdomComeDeliverance" game folder (mine is SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/KingdomComeDeliverance)
      3) Open (Create if you do not have one) a folder named "Mods"
      4) Create a folder named "slp" and open it (You are now in .../Mods/slp/)
      5) Create a folder named "data" and open it (You are now in .../Mods/slp/data)
      6) Open the mod you downloaded and drag the "zzz_tyd_SLP.pak?" file into the folder 'data' you just opened
      7) Rename "zzz_tyd_SLP.pak?" to "SLP.pak"
      8) Go back into the "Mods/slp" folder
      9) Right click in the folder, Click "New" -> "New Text Document" and name the text file "mod.manifest"
      10) Open that file with notepad, and copy the contents below into it
      <?xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"?>
      <kcd_mod>

      </info>
      </kcd_mod>
      ?11) Save it, make sure it's named correctly (Make sure to unhide common extensions so the file is not a .txt file)
      12) Done, enjoy!

    Every other mod maker for this game packages their mods in an easy-to-install file format. This guy deliberately makes it as difficult as possible. There's really no reason to do it like this lmao

      And every other mod user here really appreciates the voluntary work of the Modders.

      Also, the mod is no longer current... better take a look at the repacked version that someone else created.

      But otherwise, it's a bit bold to make such statements. You and many others (including me) have no idea how to create mods. Therefore, their work should be valued.

      Yes, he forgot an installation instruction or didn't properly explain how to install it. But he won't catch up now because he's probably stopped modding. But what do you want to say now? That you have the right to get an instruction? Or that he needs to update his mod? Even if he doesn't have time or stopped this hobby? ... a bit Rude

      Yeah, not really... Example: Skyrim.... You were able to Lock pick any chest/door with any level... but it was harder to do it...
      I lock picked a lot of Master Chests in Skyrim while playing the Thieve Guild Quests.

      But in KCD, you even can't Lock pick a Chest above your Skill Level... atm I'm at Level 11/12 etc... but can't lock pick any very hard Chest... the Lock pick just instantly break after pressing D, It not even says something like "It's too hard to Lock pick" it just breaks the Lockpick...

      On Hard Chest, you literately have 1ms of room to miss, otherwise it's break... compared with Skyrim it's hilarious hard ^^

    If you can't get it to work, one reason could be, that you made your mod.manifest as "mod.manifest.txt". The extension (.txt) is the one you need to make ".manifest" Make sure you rename the extension and not just the name.

      It definitely does work, my heavily modded game still works in the newest update.

      But I did have to do some troubleshooting, none of my mods were loading at first, and what I found fixed it was moving the (for some reason, empty) mod_order.txt out of the mod folder. Put it where-ever you like in case you find you need it later, but everything works on my end without it, and I've got mods like Perkaholic and Polearms Unleashed, roughly 25 mods altogether in my mods folder.

      Edit: After reading some more comments, I'm guessing my issues arose from not having anything in my mod_order.txt file, and you can likely fix your problems by adding "slp" to that file. Though you may only need the mod_order.txt file if you actually have problems with load orders.

    Let me ask you now i'm using a lot of mods board and that caused the game to crash the map and i suspect it's because my mods are in conflict. I will write down the mods I use below and can you guys help me find the problematic mods below using me? These mods I write in the mods text file and paste it here.
