I'm just going to assume you followed Step 1 on the installation instructions and installed Reshade as this "mod" is just a preset created with the Reshade client. -After you download the Reshade set up client, you run it and then click browse and then find Mafia DE folder and choose "mafiadefinitiveedition.exe" not "launcher.exe". Mafia is Dx11 so select that option . (follow these same exact steps to properly un-install reshade and all its files from your game as well).
-Once that's done it will ask you which shaders u want installed. The installation on this page says to "install all shader packs", so do that. Reshade set up is done, you can see it's files installed in your Mafie DE game directory now.
-Open the zip that you downloaded from this page. Drag both ".ini" files into the main game directory. Drag the reshade-shaders folder into the main game directory. Overwrite everything if asked.
Now the next time that you load into Mafia DE you should see the Reshade interface loading at the top of your screen automatically and the Home button is, by default, the button to open the Reshade interface. Once u get through the reshade tutorial, in the drop bar at the top, load the smde graphics mod1.3.ini file and it should activate the effects. Check the performance mode box at the bottom and press Home again to close the interface. You can also check the "load only enabled effects" box in the settings tab to remove all the unused shaders as well. Hope this helped
I know this is a very late reply but it has to do with TAA, aka Antialiasing. Just switch it to low in the settings and restart the game, after that the ghosting should be very much reduced.
Can I get a little help, I can't get it to work, I have it in the reshade selection, but when I select it, nothing happens :/ Do you have a clue what could it be?
