You can edit the mods .xml in your save folder to change the key value to true. Should be the first line. But all you have to do to get it normally is complete grandma's first errand (fish/Groceries) which is easily done within the first few days of a new game.
Seems to have been reported already, but as of my latest playthrough, Drunkman/Jokke won't get in the car (even after calling me to pick him up from the bar on Sunday night... when the bar wasn't even open). However, Grandma still got in just fine to go to church.
Not really a deal breaker, but just a warning so others don't waste their time driving to town at 2am. :)
I find big boosts with MOP, and i found that you can refuel if you use mop. the mod works fine, great truck. but if you use the MOP mod you have to refuel with the jerry can
As people have said, it seems to have some issues with the Modern Optimization Plugin, but those can be worked around. I don't use MOP and it works fine, with the only issue being items left in the truck bed can wind up under the truck when you reload the game, but I believe thats just an issue with mod loading in general.
As for changing wheels/engine, no you can not. You can spray paint it just like the Satsuma, but thats all the customization you can do.
