After years of research and hopeless investigations, I was in fact able to get in touch with the original commenter of this post. I started with small talk, eventually I managed to pop the question in what I thought was a seamless and non-invasive manner.

"We need to get out of here, NOW!" Boone picked me up using his rough, masculine NCR hands and pulled me away from who I thought was the original commenter of this post.
As I looked over to who I thought was the original commenter, his physical shape manifested into that of Yes Man. His smile was menacing, yet welcoming. Yes Man immediately rolled his way to Boone and swiftly ripped his head off, using his powerful robotic appendages. I was in shock. I broke down and wept at Boone's headless body, still in perfect T pose. I looked up at Yes Man, his smile still beaming.
"Hi, friend! You weren't trying to find out anything you weren't supposed to, were you?" Yes Man asked me. I begged him to spare my life, I promised him I would never return to his lands and would simply live in peace.
"Well, I suppose I could let you live. So long as you didn't go public with what had happened here... heh! Sound like a deal, friend-O?" Yes Man extended his robotic arm out to mine. I shook his blood covered robotic "hand" nervously, and quickly fled for my life.

does anyone get a bug where you go into a casino or some other place that takes weapons, one companion keeps their weapon and the other never gets it returned
I heard this bug is from game not from mod. I saw my favorite Game reviewer vdo reccommanded this game ,He was warned about this bug you have to put companion item in yourself or put their item outside somewhere around (this game have no thief loot your dropped item) or let them wait outside. I did let my companion wait outside when I was first time enter Silver Rush, no item gone when I come back.
I have this mod, with Veronica in Honest Hearts. After making it to The Narrows, losing what's his face as a companion and getting what's her face as a companion my game started crashing. After reading your comment I'm gonna have to assume it's because of this mod ooph.
It's odd FO3 started the trend of having limited companions. Because 1, 2 and Tactics lets you have as many as your charisma stats allow, giving the charisma stat an actual use
Actually, in Fallout 1 you could have all companions even with low charisma. Only in 2 that Charisma was useful beacuse of companions and how much you could have in your party
This mod is to allow players to finish companion quest lines. Like Boone and his 5 history points. Most followers are really there to get more story and hold your luggage. I wouldn't expect them to win the fight for you.
Seems that you`ve never tried high charisma build and/or never gave proper weapons to companions. All of them are greate dmg dealers. especialy Boone with Avenger (alltho he prefers 12.7mm submachine gun), he`s basicaly my stand. It gets even better with More Perks mod, where there`s about 7 perks that dramaticaly increse followers dps and survival ability
Seeing a lot of negative comments about this mod, would like to confirm that it works for me as intended at least. It's even working while I'm simultaneously running over 100 other mods in addition to it, so whatever shortcomings it has scripting-wise, they really can't be that bad.
I keep seeing people say this, I assume because of Viva New Vegas, except that you can open the mod up in xEdit and see that it's literally only overriding a single script, VNPCFollowersQuestSCRIPT. Am I missing something or is VNV completely off base with this?
I think maybe people are just trying to advertise I want to say but that's kinda weird or maybe there is something wrong but I doubt it. I personally think people are just being biased. The mod runs fine for me and I have over 100+ mods running as well but there could be something breaking the game just not everybody is affected by it.
270 hours on a save with this and no problems. VNV is trying too hard to be the authoritative source when it's really just 'Baby's First Modding Guide For Lazy People'.
While JIP CCC is certainly an impressive mod, it adds a lot of features I don't care for (I play with no HUD mostly so I don't need that part), and this mod does everything I'd need from it anyway.

While JIP CCC is certainly an impressive mod, it adds a lot of features I don't care for (I play with no HUD mostly so I don't need that part), and this mod does everything I'd need from it anyway.
