vui+ seems to be giving me the menu error about it being overwritten when i use loot menu or fps wheel, with or without patches. But when i load the game up everything seems to be working as it should be. Its just that black and red error box in the menu that says theres an issue.
For everyone who got an error after installing (Loot Menu Patch): delete this file "vertical_fade_line.xml" (Data->Menus->Prefabs->lootmenu) or just not copy in this directory your game. For me, it works.
For some reason I'm getting amber lines on the left and right sides of the loot menu when hovering over containers that I can steal from when they should be red. Anyone know how to fix?
Found the issue - It was vanilla plus with the current version of loot menu, they didn't seem to like each other even with this patch so I've resorted to uninstalling loot menu and using JLM Just Loot Menu instead.
No -- the Loot Menu and FPS Weapon Wheel mods don't have Fallout 3 versions, so it wouldn't be necessary(or possible) to make patches for them. Vanilla UI Plus does have a Fallout 3 version, found offsite. Generally speaking, the only time New Vegas mods will work for Fallout 3(or vice versa) without requiring manual conversion is if they are replacers for textures and/or models only, with no .esp/.esm file.
There is one other option if you're looking to use New Vegas mods in Fallout 3 is via Tale of Two Wastelands. You'll need both games and all their DLCs installed. Tale of Two Wastelands essentially runs Fallout 3 as a mod to New Vegas, so New Vegas mods work for it by default, more or less.
