Regarding compatibility with "Dynamic Seasons" - the author provided informationon the main page, about use with other visual effects mods in the "Installation" section. Regarding the mod: "Vestigia", you just need to delete the file:"visualsettings.dat" from the mod "Vestigia" and my settings will work. The same applies to the mod: "Visual Redemption" - you just need to delete the file: "visualsettings.dat" from mod Razed. The same rules apply to absolutely all other graphic mods that use the file: "visualsettings.dat " - for the correct use of my TAA settings and effects, the file: "visualsettings.dat" - must be removed from mods that also use it. I really hope for your understanding. Please read this pinned message before asking similar questions in the comments. Buddy, if you like these settings, leave your approval and your vote! Launching graphic mods and TAA settings is possible only through LML. Much, of course, depends in any case on your components (CPU and GPU). If you have relatively good components and this happens in the game when working with LML, then I would recommend you to use Gameconfig, the same: "Kaptain's GameConfig" and perhaps this will solve your problem with stuttering.
Hi. I wonder if you can help me understand why this section is missing from your visualsettings.dat, but it is present in the default update_1.rpf\common\data\visualsettings.dat file:
I'm currently in the process of understanding how this file works. I'm wondering if these parameters are new or just unused? I extracted the default file with OpenIV from my game bought on Epic Games. Maybe tweaking this could help make TAA look better?
I don't quite understand what you mean. The image will definitely be sharper than the original, since this is the main concept in improving TAA anti-aliasing. However, I believe that you should find the item in the game settings: “TAA anti-aliasing sharpness” and lower this value, perhaps this will solve your problem.
Is there a way to make the Milky Way sky darker when the full moon is out? It's like super blue and bright which is not a problem, since it is beautiful but preference-wise, I was wondering if there was some setting or value I could edit to get a darker sky while keeping the crispy Milky Way! Thanks for this awesome mod. Cheers.
The main issue is the bright Milky Way constellation that was added to this awesome mod does not look good on HDR 4K screen. I REALLY hope the dev makes a version without both the Milky Way constellation and the darker nights to account for this.
The 4K upscaled stars and moon by garbageman42069 look considerably better and more natural on 4K HDR screens:
I think that I will release this fix and it will be downloaded as an additional version, but I can't promise that it will be in the near future. Unfortunately, aside from my favorite game RDR2, my main work takes up a lot of my time. I hope for your understanding!
I'd prefer not to adjust the nights and the render distance has cause some distracting pop-in in certain scenes. But, the clarity improvement is massive and it runs very well. Makes 1.25 render scale look better than 1.5 does in the base game. Overall a huge improvement.
Hello! Thank you for the mod it looks outstanding! I have sole questions, though, can I use it with Whyem mods like Whyem Rain, Bloodblust, and Particles? I think your mod is not compatible with Whyem Visuals?
Sorry for those questions, I'm quite new to the Red Dead Redemption 2 modding scene ^^
Hello! This mod is compatible with all the above mentioned mods except: Whyem Visuals. In order for my settings and the Whyem Visuals mod to work correctly, you will need to delete the file: visualsettings.dat from the mod: Whyem Visuals. In this case, my settings for TAA and other effects will work as expected.
Thank you very much for the clarification, guess I will have to make a choice, both mods are looking good, I think I will use your work for my new playthrough ^^ Thank you for the quick reply, take care!
You need to remove Visualsettings.dat from Visual Redemption in order for my mod to work correctly and without errors. When loading, priority may be given to the file from the Visual Redemption mod and you simply will not see any difference in the game from my changes. Weather changes will remain in Visual Redemption - you don't have to worry about it. I have already answered this question many times.
Changes in shadows are possible. You can check this yourself and decide for yourself which is better. If you are not happy with my changes, then just play the stock Visual Redemption.
