I get what you were trying to do for the dream sequence cause I recall the movie American Werewolf in London where David had this nightmare sequence, where I also noticed the group of monsters who resemble werewolf-like creatures dressed in distorted World War II German-style uniforms massacres his family inside their home were using Ingram MAC-11 submachine guns, chambered in .380 ACP. What is puzzling is that the rate of fire in the movie is about half the rate of a real MAC-11 (which is a very fast 1200 rounds per minute). The sound effect of the gunfire is about 450 rounds per minute (like an M3A1 "Grease Gun"), which is more probably due to the sound effect in editing, and not the actual rate of fire of the submachine gun. Also when the Nazi zombie werewolf monsters open fire with their submachine guns at David's father as he opens the door. The sub-machine gun being fired on the left is most likely an IMI Uzi based on its front sight. Ironic that a Nazi would be using an Israeli design and also uses a Sterling Mk.IV Submachine gun (also known as the L2A3). I thought they would be using WW2 MP 40 submachine guns to go with the German outfits instead of Modern weapons. But I know it's a dream they can have whatever guns they want. So in Jill's case, it's her dream she can have whatever gun she wants.
Jill can have more than one gun. The G19 may have been her first gun she bought while in training to become a member of STARS. As well as before Robert Kendo made her own custom STARS model tailored for her. There are a lot of people who carry a backup sidearm in case of an emergency.
Regardless I appreciate this mod because I have an other mod that replaces the G19 and the textures look wonky on the this cutscene because of it so thank you for this fix.
Honestly, this actually makes this scene way more dramatic, because that's her signature gun, specially with the "S.T.A.R.S" engraving on the side of it.
listen i didnt download this mod(because i dont have Re3 for PC) but i tend to pick at things sometimes and it didnt make sense that she had the G19 before she snatched it off the dead cop lol. thank you.
Great idea using her Samurai Edge instead of the Glock, I'll use that mod from now on! Small nitpick though, it's easy to miss but I've noticed that the pistol isn't mirrored in the reflection, could that be fixed at some point, please?
No, cannot be done because that is actualy not a real mirror. To save processing power (and because its propably easier) Capcom uses a second model, that merely "mirrors" the animations.
To put it in a different way: That is not one bathroom with a mirror but two, a second Jill model is on the opposite site of that room, holding the gun in her left hand (from her perspective). That is why, wee see the insignia in a readable fashion; it's the exact same model, used twice.
Hope i explained the "issue" good enough to make sense.
Not in this scene. If you have my mod active and the custom Beretta, you will see the Samurai Edge during the bathroom scene and that's it. When you're at the dead cop, you will pick up your custom Beretta.
The reason why is, this "gun" in the bathroom is not an item but an object. It is a complete seperate model.

This is incredibly immersive and lore-fiendly.
Thank you.
Endorsed!
