Yeha i gave up too, and i even asked about what i did wrong because usually i never ask questions about these sort of things since i already experienced enough with this sort of thing.. also tried to install things in an order that made sense and didnt replace files in the wrong order etc, but nomatter what i do, everytime i launch the game with thi strainer, it crashes, my game is Gold Edition, my game is latest version, the trainer is the latest version, fluffy is the latest version and upto date, i re-read arhieve, uninstalled and installed the game twice, i went to validate steam files, nothing works.. i am guessing this trainer favors different OS or maybe it just doesnt work on AMD GPU ? well i have no idea..

I installed the ultimate H.U.N.K mod to use for barry and rebecca but the models won't swap, anyone know how to fix? I put it in fluffy's mod manager but wont work.
So, I turned off DEP for both the launcher.exe and re5dx9.exe but the game still crashes with having the trainer open then launching the game. Any solutions would be hugely appreciated!
How does the "real time editor" portion of the inventory tab work? I have been unable to use it for anything and I've been messing with it in any way possible for a while.
Doesn't work, followed multiple tutorials, installed this multiple times, deleted out of rage, turned off DEP for both and nothing works, this mod sucks I actually got my hopes up thinking i could actually play as a cool character but I guess not. I do not recommend this mod, maybe in the future they'll give us a working mod for once with proper instructions.
I almost lost my mind trying to make this trainer work at first, but I can guarantee you it works. You may be following invalid instructions for your setup, or even picking conflicting options in the menus of the trainer. I can't promise anything, but if you send me a message, I can try to help you.
Alright I finally found out a way, an All in One mod enabled in fluffy mod manager and RE5GE Trainer enabled I finally got it to work without crashes, I was struggling to do this, no video showed how to do this but I finally experimented with it myself and I actually got it to work although I don't mess with files at all.
For anyone having issues, I was able to to install this by doing the following:
-Download all of the files for this mod. -Download them to Desktop (my preference) -Add MODS folder to Local RE5 Files -Extract the files Folder in ZIP to Mods Folder -Move REDIST and Ultimate Trainer to Desktop -Turn of DEP (Data Execution Prevention) in Windows (not sure what MAC equivalent would be) -Open the Trainer then run RE5 -Use ALT-TAB to cycle between RE5 and Trainer.
KEY KEY ITEMS: - I am playing RE5 Gold Edition VIA STEAM - DO NOT PLAY FULL SCREEN! this will make the game crash when cycling through the trainer and Game. - Play RE5 VIA a window (I was able to make the Game Window large enough like Full Screen.)

Hi, can you please explain how to use characters on campaign or reunion? (Wesker on Réunion for example) I have all the files installed, I try to freeze player 1 and putting the desired character but nothing, I have Re5 Ge on Steam, I'm desperated
When you ALT tab to the trainer to change character, Make sure Ignore missing files, Fix cutscenes, Player 1 / 2 are checked. When using in campaign, Player 1 is Chris and Player 2 is Sheva so make sure you are freezing and changing and using the correct character. Then ALT tab back to the game and enter campaign, do not try and change while already in game.
Both Resident Evil 5 Quality of Life Fixes and Resident Evil 5 - Fixes are (apparently) incompatible with this mod. One of the changes brought by these mods is the fix of the black outlines around objects when you use the in game anti-aliasing. If you want to replicate this fix without using any of these two mods, you can set the AA via Nvidia Profile Inspector. Here's how you do it. Sadly, this only works for Nvidia GPUs.
Also, if you're experimenting crashes when Alt-Tabing from the game to the trainer, even in windowed mode, you can try using Resident Evil 5 Fusion Fix. It comes with a borderless mode enabled by default. Just extract in your game root folder.
