      try help resurrect 4
in the console use page up and page down to scroll through, you will find it as resurrection is not a common keyword. Hope that helps :)

Somehow, in a stupid way, the mod works, unlike other mods or spells: it shows the animation as in a trell, then a black screen, then the hero cannot move, and then the character is already alive. I absolutely do not like it.

Having been "forced" to move into SSE (long story), I am curious as to if this is compatible with it. This has always been my favorite res method for when NPC's are short on brainpower.

It SEEMS this works with SSE. I'm not sure if it will work on named NPC's, but it SEEMS to work without a hitch when I stress tested it on a few guards, so I'd presume it works globally.

Stress test 1 : Ambushed a few whiterun guards at night on the roads. Killed them, used "scroll only" setting with healing animations. They seemed to return to life with no hostility.

Stress test 2: Dungeon Dive, whacked a few generic bandits, used scroll only setting with necromancy anims. They returned to life and functioned to their normal AI hostility script as foes.

Stress test 3: Same as 1, just in solitude instead, same results.

Stress test 4: Same as 2, vampire caves, same results.

Todd Howard says "It just works".

A mod that was released in 2012 and still is better than 2018 mods...

How compatible is this mod with follower mods?

edit: well looks like it depends on the individual mods in question lol

basically I made the mod store all the variables, move its inventory to temp storage, resurrect the npc, reset the variables to what they were before the resurrect command reset the char, then cleared its inventory and moved the temp stored items back to ensure it would be immersive not suddenly they have their full looted inventory restored after resurrecting.

So as long as the mod in question does not change how any of the variables or inventory is handled it should function. There was a few that required the use of their formid as one of the conditions as they were not flagged as an npc if the mod changes this id that could also effect if this mod functions on them.

There seems to be a incompetability with "Bijin Warmaidens", if the "fcteResurrection" esp is loaded aftewards. Lydias face will be back to vanilla, with the "gray face" bug. It was gone, when changing the loadorder (which LOOT won't do) but I don't know yet, if there will be anything going wrong, when trying to resurrect Lydia.
Sorry, if this was mentioned before.

My question is, what role do NAVM play in your mod? I would like a scroll from your mod to add to your own, I cut out from your mod all category NAVM mod continues to work, what exactly did I cut out? This is bad idia?

The NAVM may be related to the dummy cell I created to temp move to/from during the resurrection spell to fix certain issues that required the cell to reload after resurrecting it should not harm anything to remove the NAVM though if the entire cell was removed it might prevent the move to/from the cell part from working.

Been using this mod in my game since early 2015. It is now 2017, and this is still my go-to mod for healing NPC's who are hurt (read:killed) during dragon attacks, or other unfortunate incidents (vampire attacks, bandits in riften, etc etc).

I LIKE this mod, it isn't over-complicated, it doesn't make you have to jump through hoops, and allows you the OPTION to determine how the nature of bringing a person back is handled.

I DON'T want a mod that makes you have to download a "spell pack", with 100 other magics, JUST to be able to help dead NPC's who were killed for abstract reason #45

I DON'T want a mod that is "just the same" as the console command (there are complications in my game, when using the console, I only use it in emergency cases where I get stuck, or have to set a quest stage). I LIKE that this mod goes through the extra steps to fix the bodies, check the stats of the person being healed, among other things to ensure the healed NPC is properly functional (details in the time during the fade to black sequence). I've noticed this mod actually seems to "correct" certain small, but attentive, game-play flags which are set-off when certain NPC's are killed, that the resurrection command via console doesn't always account for (mainly in shop-keepers, or NPC's who perform specific services via dialogue, instead of just becoming generic responsive "huh" and "what do you want" voice sets). I don't know if this is a side effect of the way the mod was written up, or was intentional, but the fact it allows NPC's to return to full functionality allows this mod to be a full cut-above the other "resurrect" mods on nexus that I have personally seen which just slap the NPC with the console command's bare-minimum effects.

I DON'T want a mod that allows you to just stroll around, placing your hands on people, and pulling a Lazarus out of your butt.

This is the mod that is "just right" for me.

I LIKE that you can choose the "feel" of the spell on a new game (necromancy or healing VFX)

I LIKE that you can have it as a scroll that costs a little bit of money, and not a spell that you can just "whip out" whenever.

This makes it feel a little more meaningful in an RP sense, to healing a hurt NPC. Instead of a "Oh you died, let me fix that for you" *cast spell like no big deal*.

It becomes a "I had to buy this scroll with my own resources, this isn't the kind of magic a person can just cast casually. So here I am using it on your fallen (husband/wife/shopkeeper). This is strong magic imbued into a scripture, that is going to vanish after I recite the incantation. After which, I'll have to make an effort to get another one."

I LIKE that in all practicality, that obtaining such scrolls isn't a dramatic pain, so much as something that requires a little bit of effort to spend money on (and a side-trip to a mage). Some attacks (like dragons and vampires) are random, and the dragons themselves are relentless. Makes sense to carry a scroll or two, in-case the worst thing happens. More often than not, the people near you during the attack stupidly run into the dragon's breath, or confront master-vampires with only daggers in their hands and clothes on their back, instead of taking cover and letting the dragon-born take care of it like a champ (for all the times Adrianne got killed, right there near the front gate of Whiterun, you think she would learn, but NoooOOOoooOOOoOOO, she has to pretend she has a mace given to her by the divines, and run into harm's way head on; not thinking OH YEAH! These monsters are possibly much stronger (twenty levels higher) than I am!)

    ANYHOW!

I just want the Nexus to know, this is THE-MOD to have, if you are going to maintain, heal or just protect the NPC's of skyrim from untimely shortcomings. Rather for your own personal investments as a loot-seller when your favorite merchant is killed, or because of an unfortunate accident, some kind of attack, or you just want to kill a certain NPC because you feel they have it coming, but don't really want to remove them from the game, so much as just vent some frustrations (I'm looking at you, Nazeem). This mod will maintain the NPC's both personal and functional integrity, while allowing you to help people you previously just couldn't do anything for as a result of happenstance.

    Final Thoughts
BETTER than the console resurrection command.

Good (safe) to use with : Amazing Follower Tweaks, Necromancy 101 (9726), Disintegrate no more (1150 and No Ashes (76057).

If the body was converted to ashes there is nothing left to resurrect.

Would this work on Mercer Frey? Or would I still get the no dialogue glitch that happens when resurrecting him through the console?
