just got this mod, most things are working fine but the animations are no different to the normal one handed attacks.(the power attacks dont change either)
I recommend you to pass on True Spear Combat (Spear, halberd, javelin), Animated armoury (spear, halberd,and many others) or Skyrim spear mechanic (spear which can be launched with the power attack), they work well together for me, we have add a lot of functionalities, compatibilities and animations. My mod own 1st person animations, it's change a lot of things and JZBai have done 1st person for Animated Armory.
these install instructions make no sense, there is no patcher EXE just a rar file that i searched thru and it has no EXE either. clearly the mods been abandoned by now but i really wish this had been fixed
even if y'all are past the initial BOSS requirement, the patcher won't recognize esp's dependencies, it keeps throwing a warning that cutting room floor is missing a master when it isn't it
This is where I'm stuck. And given how long ago this was posted, looks like there won't be an answer from the mod author. Should have really checked these comments before I downloaded. Hopefully an almost but not installed and activated mod won't break the game.
I manually installed this correctly but the animations are not working as it should be. Spears dont thrust and uses the basic swinging, overhead animations.
Please don't be intimidated by all these installation instructions. It's not hard to install or anything

I installed this as described and still could never get the spears to work correctly. The steps to get this working were also complicated, so maybe that's part of the issue. Cannot recommend.
