Somehow I get the texture names to show up in makeup section of showracemenu, but no matter how i set the transparency/color the textures dont show up in any layer on the body.
I adapted the .ini file as instructed. Any other tips? Thanks!

I see the paint on the arms when armor is on it stays on the face but if you take the armor off it disappears off the body

Currently I am working on update for this version - once again I have completely redrawn the warpaint and for the first time I am creating versions for Khajiits and Argonians. With release of this update, there will be release of Skyrim SE version too.

So stay tuned, I hope it will not take more than a month, however I don't have much time between my studies and work, so please, bear with me.

These would be awesome for SSE, but it appears our modder has gone MIA! Hope vitvalecka returns soon!

Don't worry, I am still working on SSE version of Viper's Warpaint. I know I was originaly writing about release around Christmass, but my studies at university got in the way (and you know - priorities).
I am planning to continue in my work on the SSE version in a few weeks, when summer holidays in my country starts.

In case, making these RaceMenu compatible would be quite nice, as to have them useable/accessible on a quite more open way.

Nice design/realisation, looking forward updates in all cases.

Thank you for your feedback. Glad you like it.

I would like to ask - what do you mean by "would be quite nice, as to have them useable/accessible on a quite more open way"?
Warpaints are accessible through Makeup tab in Race Menu as all mod-added-warpaints are. I know only about this way of making it accesable.

Ok, as I do no use English on a daily basis, it seem some words are let out between mind & edited post, so nvm, as Racemenu is indeed the most interesting way to handle access & use of textures ingame.

As to interest, indeed, any conceptual design is opening a path as to diversity and then, opening (sensibility).

To be seen, thanks vitalecka !
