   I've made a merged "Aringoth Race - Sleep - Invisibility Potion Combo Patch" at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/92986, combining all the Aringoth mods into one. I did not have enough mod slots left to run them all! Argh! Wrye Bash (in my load order, anyway) wasn't going to auto-merge any of them.

      Never mind. I looked in the ESP and see that his actual race in the CK was also set wrong, not just the graphics.

      No, I didn't make him a follower. You only run into him during the infiltration job in Golden Glow estate. It's a pretty minor role but the mismatch between how he's described and how he looks always irked me.
