Excellent mod sir! If you feel like it, would you consider doing the guard armor (the color is unique to each hold) and helmet (same for every guard)? Guard gauntlets and boots are just fur armor, so plenty of other mods already cover those two.
Whatever you decide, thank you very much for your efforts :)
Was browsing through the mods here on Nexus and yours caught my eye when I realized your photos are of the shield map I created for my Unique Display Room mod LOL thanks, that made my night!
I am having a slight issue with this mod running on a laptop on medium settings (medium resolution and default medium settings via BethINI). The shields appear (for lack of a better term) somewhere between pixellated and sparkly when viewed from a distance (they stand out considerably), but up close (i.e., when I am standing next to a guard), they appear shiny and distorted, like they are under flowing water. I am not sure if this is a product of running on medium settings, but I've not had this issue with any other texture mod. I first noticed it as part of Weapons Armor and Clothing - The Cathedral Concept, but removed all other mods (I use MO2) and installed just this texture pack, and the issue persists. It was suggested to me that this may be due to a transparency issue with the _n.dds files? Just a thought.
This is because they are lacking mipmaps. Mipmaps are an important component of a texture, and what you are seeing is what happens when a realtime render engine tries to make do without them.
How hard would it be to edit in GIMP Markarth's Ram symbol to be gold-ish and Whiterun's shield background to be white with a light yellow Horse symbol? Would a simple bucket brush fill work or is it more involved?

Would this work with Shields of the Holds mod's meshes?
Well I just try I guess ^^
Thank you for your awesome texture art!
