This is an awesome mod. This helped reset the inventory of the court mages as I installed "Court Wizards Wear Breton Mage Robes" mod mid-game. Since they never reset, I found this mod by chance and gave it a test.
I pickpocketed gold from Sybille Stentor and slept that the inn for 2 days. Came back to see her and now she is wearing the modded robe. Endorsed!
This mod absolutely slaps and I love it. I think it would be 10x better if it had some kind of functionality that disables whatever scripting resets NPCs when all their s#*! is unequipped while the spell is active.
Just a note that unique items can get removed from NPC inventory as a result of this reset. Examples of such items are Amren's Family Sword, and Mjoll's Grimsever after you finish their respective quests.
I dunno, but I can repeat it always on my end. It shouldn't be too hard to test it yourself, but since my comment is more than a year old with no updates, I assume this won't change. I'll just avoid pickpocketing certain NPCs.
By the thing, you mean things like the quest items I listed, correct?
If yes, then my initial comment and reply still stand. It's why I didn't put it as a bug report nor did I ever claim it to be an issue, but rather a "note" for users to know, in-line with your reverse-pickpocket description.
All in all, it's a fair trade rather than never-resetting inventory, so I don't mind.
If I understand this correctly, since the ResetInventory will apply on actors after the spell expires, if the spell is to forcefully removed via console command before it expires, the reset will not occur. Am I correct?
