If you are requesting help with crash log do not post it here as a comment that takes up huge amount of space. Either post it to another website like pastebin (or similar) and link here, or post it in a spoiler tag. If you don't follow this guideline and make a huge crash log post I will delete your message and you will get no response.
Gentle Persons, please do not continue to request updates for the Framework. It is completely up to the mod author(s) as to whether or not and when a mod will be updated. Bide yourselves in patience.
tried playing a save recently and it crashes whenever it loads, cleaned it with resaver and checked the save with mo2 and I have no missing mods, any help? Crashlog linked here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
man how come I always figure out the issue immediately after I ask for help, same thing happened back when I was modding cyberpunk earlier as well. Apparently SOS is the culprit, was just about to get offline and decided to disable it and try one more time since it appeared in multiple of my crashlogs, now the save works. Just gotta figure out how to make SOS work again, it works on my other character but not this one for whatever reason. Hope I don't gotta disable it each time I want to access one of my other older saves.
I recently downgraded from 1.6.640 to 1.5.97 to want removing the fast travel CTD because I updated the new version of natural waterfall became the conflict with DynDOLOD that caused the fast travel CTD in AE 1.6.640 so I came back to play Skyrim SE 1.5.97 to start a new game for the temporary and plan to regenerate DynDOLOD and return to AE 1.6.640 but the problem is a new game CTD in SE 1.5.97.
I took a look at Data/.Netscript framework/mods/NetScriptFramwork.log.txt for finding out what caused a new game CTD.
It said " Unhandled native exception occurred at 0x7FF73FF612B4 (SkyrimSE.exe+6412B4) on thread 24924! "
I don't understand this error. I would be appreciated if you can you tell me what is this error that caused a new game CTD ?
Hope it would help me to track down what mod cause a new game CTD.
The crashlog itself should be located here: \NetScriptFramework\Crash\*.txt Either directly in that path or in the overwrite folder - if you are using MO2.
Without the log nobody can tell you what's probably the issue.
Hi there, I am getting this really weird problem where there are crash logs in the Crash folder when I am using the "Explore Virtual Folder" executable with MO2, but when I try to view them it will say that the path of the file does not exist, which is true since I cannot see those logs when I am using the file explorer. Do you know how to view those logs?
Having a strange issue that is proving insanely difficult to diagnose and I have no idea how to fix:
Last night, my load order of ~700 mods was, as far as I could tell, stable. It was a fresh MO2 profile. I created a new game, made my character in RaceMenu, went through the backstory process in Dealing With Backstories, saved, and exited. Then, I installed 5 mods (will list below), which isn't a ton to install at once, but perhaps I should have been even more cautious because something broke my .NET Script Framework. Now, Skyrim is failing to open on ALL of my MO2 profiles - the game doesn't even start to load, no .NET Script Framework log is even created, the best I have is the log that shows up in \MO2\logs where it lists all the process hooks, which is nigh impossible to diagnose from. I can throw that in a Pastebin if anyone has experience diagnosing from that kind of log, but I'm really not sure how much can be discerned from it.
How I know it's .NET Script Framework that's broken:
I tested running the game with no mods enabled - it worked.
I removed (not disabled, removed) the 5 new mods through MO2 - it did not work. Commence the arduous diagnosis process.
Keeping the 5 new mods removed from MO2, I started disabling mods category by category to see if anything in that category was the culprit. Once I got to what I call "Modder's Resources," I started going one by one instead of doing the whole category, since these tend to be the most intricate and important mods.
When I got to .NET Script Framework and disabled it, the game started working again.
Steps I've taken to attempt to remedy the .NET Script Framework issue:
Reinstalled .NET Script Framework - did not fix the issue.
Removed .NET Script Framework, redownloaded the mod to a different folder on my computer, and installed manually to the Data directory (as per instructions on mod page) instead of through MO2 - did not fix the issue.
Removed the .NET Script Framework folders from the Data directory and installed through MO2 - did not fix the issue, but it works when .NET Script Framework is still in the modlist and disabled.
There is nothing on any of the 5 mods' pages in the descriptions, comments, forums, or bugs that even mentions Skyrim failing to load, much less any issue with .NET Script Framework. Does anyone have any idea how to further diagnose this? Or, better yet, have any idea what about any of those 5 mods would break .NET Script Framework? Does it have something to do, maybe, with how one of those mods installs through MO2 (i.e. does it affect a file in the game's directory, thus explaining why all MO2 profiles break with .NET Script Framework)? I really don't want to run 700+ mods without .NET Script Framework crash logs in case anything ever gets borked or becomes unstable down the line...
Tried an older version of SSE Engine Fixes - did not work.
Disabled SSE Engine Fixes and tried using DLL Plugin Loader instead - did not work.
Disabled SSE Engine Fixes and removed DLL Plugin Loader files (and fixed the name on the original binkw64.dll) - did not work (but didn't expect it to).
Hi, AFAIK, you are the only person having the same issue with NET Script Framework. My issue happened once I restarted my computer having reinstalled a modlist containing NSF.
Hello once again, I've got a CTD a few times over the last year with this heading: SkyrimSE.exe+21FFE3. I don't happen to have the logs on me but can post some tonight...When searching online for similar crashes, the only references I can find are on the Animated Ships mod page and the Wildlander (which I'm guessing is a mod pack) wiki and both of these mention an issue with npcs spawning with torches. My crashes tend to happen when leaving walled cities at night and most reference a Khajiit npc which I'm guessing is part of the caravan. Anybody else have any experience with this type of crash? I appreciate any info, I will post a couple crash logs here tonight.

Have you had better luck in trying to fix it ?

Most cases with "player causing it" are related to missing masters. But that's a pure guess.
