There is a private messaging system, it just runs through the forums instead. If you click on the envelope icon by your profile picture in the top right, next to the bell, it will take you there. Should be easy enough to figure out from that point.
Hah, yes, that's the thing. I've got two permission requests in forum DMs, but no replies yet. And another permission request in comments only. There is no hope! I think it's the case that the forum system is separate.
idk elder scrolls lore extremely well, but in our own earth lore, dragons would surely keep their head and neck low (as in vanilla) rather than high. This is because the underbelly and underneck scales of the dragon are much softer than the top scales, and the head is the most armored part of the dragon overall, much akin to some species of dinosaur like the triceratops or the pachycephalosaurus.
It's been supposed that dragons would actually seek out hard metals and gems, aka their horde, so that by sleeping on it, they might embed protective bits and pieces into their softer underbelly scales, but that sounds like speculation to me, lol. But what's not speculation is the way a dragon will use the striking visage of its richly ornamented head to mesmerise any that might encounter it. Subsequently, the dragon can exert some measure of control through subtle motions and movements.
I believe some similar behaviors of mesmerism can be observed in snakes and their prey. In my own head canon, the dragons in Skyrim (with few exceptions) are more like dragon zombies raised by Alduin, and so would not exhibit the same behaviors as a fully living dragon, much like skeletons and draugr don't have the same motives or follow the same behaviors as the living.
Saying all that, it's your game, and you mod it like you want! It's all a matter of taste and preference, really. Not like I care lol just wanted people to be aware of the perspectives here.
Hey I am using this with Diverse Dragons, Ultimate Dragons, Immersive dragons, No twitching dragon death animation and Dragon Remains. I seem to get the bug where dragons shout into the ground and can't quite figure out whats causing it.
no clue why this is such a lesser known mod, when it's basically the only one that touches these lackluster vanilla assets. We've got like 20 mods that change the dragon mesh and skeleton, but none that change the animations other than yours.
I dunno if u can change this, but for vortex users if u download the optional file |Standing Breath| vortex want u to Manage rules and suggest u to have the main file after the optional file. what can be a problem for people that let vortex do every thing for them. especially when they click the option "Use suggestions"

This Mod is changed only the animation of dragon.
The file is only ".hkx". ".eps" or "esm" is not included.
It's difficult getting a hold of people to get permissions without any actual private messaging system.
I'm trying to get permission to include Diverse Dragons-derived assets in https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106755 for full Diverse Dragons support. Foreleg NIFs for Crystal, Glacial, and Lava. Derived from your meshes.
a legend mods
