I've noticed in the comments lots of users are interested in a version of this mod without the tail. I reached out to DeltaRider and he offered this suggestion: In xEdit go to 02021731 and delete this:
If you are still alive, could you upload the image to a permanent source? Discord deletes images after a while, so the instructions are gone.
Edit: By some miracle, the Wayback Machine happened to have a snapshot of this post shortly after it was made (see https://web.archive.org/web/20220523013247/https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29941?tab=posts). The data key to delete is within DragonAspectOverhaul.esp is under VMAD - Virtual Machine Adapter, the second script in the "Scripts (sorted)" dropdown. It will have two properties within it, the second of which with a value of DLC2DragonbornAspectTail: Object = ..(more here, not typing it all)
I noticed one minor issue with this mod. The tail seems to use the same slot as capes from other mods like Cloaks of Skyrim do. Thus, when I use the shout and get the tail, the cape gets unequipped automatically. But when I requip the cape, the tail is gone until I use the shout again. It's a bit annoying to have to requip my cape every time I use the shout, so would it be possible to get rid of the tail or move it to a different slot?
I love this mod by the way, I've been using it for about a year now. Really love the idea of adding a tail and no wings (I hate that other mod for dragon aspect that adds the wings).
I thought I'd let you know that your mod would appear to cause the game to fail at launch. I'm not sure if its broken, but since anniversary edition I haven't been able to launch Skyrim with your mod.

Hello! I've really been wanting to try this mod, but I cannot for the life of me get FNIS to work, nor am I really that interested in getting it to work. Is there any chance you could release a version of the mod without the tail?

This is the key that you want to delete.

I love this mod, but i also love cloaks.So its really annoying and also immersive breaking for me.
