AWESOME!! I just put it into my game, it works with Wintersun!! It's just like praying at a shrine. I don't suppose amulets for the other Wintersun deities are possible? Shrine blessings and the ability to pray to all the Wintersun deities with an amulet would be amazing!
I second this! I was just asking on r/skyrimmods to see if anyone could make something like this. If it could be expanded to cover all the deities in Wintersun, and give favor like the "Pray" power, that would be incredible!
Even in the vanilla game, we're missing Nocturnal, Auriel, and the 3 Reclamations. I'd do something with them if I can get my hands on some high-quality assets.
I believe Amulets of Skyrim for Oldrim (it even has open permissions for asset use) has high-quality amulet models for the other Daedra and for Auri-El, and the Necromancer's Amulet would work pretty seamlessly as a prayer amulet for Mannimarco.
I'm making a very V+ game and this combined with the Amulet Evangelism and Adamant's Shrine addon is PERFECT. So much less janky/bloated/heavy than other religion mods. Thank you!
Please, make Wintersun - Faiths of Skyrim SE version, these both mods were born to be togheter https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22506
I am using the perk overhaul vokrii. There's a perk named "blessed" in the restoration tree which allows blessings to be 50% stronger and last twice as long. When I use the amulet power to pray the duration is doubled but not the effect. I still have to go to the original altar and pray from there to get the 50% stronger version of the blessing. Maybe a patch is needed?
Edit: Nevermind tried on a new game and it's working as intended.
I'm guessing I'm having a similar issue - Mod doesn't seem to be working, I'm assuming because I haven't started a new game. Is there something I need to do in order to get this mod to activate without starting a new game? I'm using Wintersun - I still only have the single pray button (which I'm hoping will stay that way), but I'm not getting the blessings when I use it. If I add one of the spells from your mod it works when I use that spell, but obviously I don't get the effects from the wintersun mod since I didn't use it's pray button.
If that makes sense...???
ie: I was expecting to gain favor while also gaining the blessings, but I'm not.
I did a clean save prior to installing while in Your Highness shop (so in an internal area). I have also saved after it was installed right after and restarted the game, but it still isn't working after that. Maybe my smashed patch did something wrong with it.
Edit: Oh I see what's happening now. You can't use an amulet that was previously in your inventory - you have to add one and then the pray option will start working. Which is why it 'seemed' to only work on a new game I'm guessing.
It seems like the two powers are separate though, I'd have to pray for wintersun/receive blessings in two separate praying sessions and using two separate powers - that's unfortunate, was hoping they'd work simultaneously :'(
tldr: This mod is compatible and works with Wintersun, but isn't 'integrated' with Wintersun, they're separate prayers, unless I'm misunderstanding, but I don't think I am at this point. After looking at the two mods/code for both mods, I think the scripts for Wintersun would need the code from this mod added to it basically. Perhaps someone more skilled can find an easy fix to mingle these two together. I would prefer to simply still just use the pray power from wintesun, and if I'm wearing an amulet, then I also receive the blessings, but I like how I don't have diseases fixed though (honestly, might as well just remove diseases altogether if you do that).
I really want to use this mod - And I'm preparing to install it now. However, I'm seeing a conflict with the prayermat_furniture.nif with Wintersun. I know someone already said that these mods seem to be compatible, but can you confirm there's no difference between these two files? With all the different prayer options in Wintersun, I'm assuming this nif has a specific use in that mod and I'm worried about replacing it. Can we use the one from Wintersun instead to ensure compatibility with Wintersun? Is there a specific reason why we need yours??
I have no clue, which is why I'm asking ;-P
I've had this exact same concept sitting on the back burner for a while now, thankyou for doing it for me :)
EDIT: I just noticed the mesh for this was in a 'wintersun' folder - so clearly it's not a conflict haha - Some times I'm pretty too quick to judge I guess.

Anyway, thx, I'm sure I'll love using this mod.
