Just posting this here. If you ask a question that's answered in this sticky or in the description after I posted it, I get the right to mock you for not reading. :P Of course if you don't understand something, you can still ask. But if you ask a question that is easily answered by reading, prepare to be mocked :P
Q&A:
Compatibility with x mod? This is textures, so it cannot break your game. However, all mods but USSEP should overwrite this. Example Priority in MO2: 0 DLC - HearthFires 1 DLC - Dragonborn 2 DLC - Dawnguard 3 Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch 4 Cleaned Skyrim SE Textures (This mod) 5 Some other mod
Compare/Use with Unofficial Performance Optimized Textures? They both affect the same thing. So pick this mod or that mod. If you are using the highest version of UPOT (UPOT for high end machines) this mod outperforms. Medium version (UPOT for medium end machines) has slight performance increase. Low version (UPOT for low end machines) has much better performance. All versions of UPOT will be lower quality than this mod due to using Bethesda's dirty textures. My textures are cleaned. My advice is: If you have a very bad PC use UPOT, otherwise this mod (CSSET), is the better choice, as far as I know.
My map has no roads? Roads are added by mod "Quality World Map" or such, please make sure ALL OTHER MODS OVERWRITE THIS.
Can you upload somewhere else so I can download faster? No. The intent is to provide non-premium nexus users with a sense of pride and accomplishment for waiting 42 minutes for this download at 2MB/s.
Can you split the file into pieces so I can download with my sh*tty internet? No. Use download manager like Jdownloader. If your internet drops during the download, Jdownloader will protect it from corruption.
Ugly distant tiling? I looked into this and it is from textures/terrain (which is for distant terrain). This is what it looks like by default (as far as I can see). If you want some better looking terrain LOD use this mod. Terrain LOD redone
I'm releasing a 'loose' version of this mod for some people to work with. My friend shattered rock initially provided the BSAs version so I can't exactly cross reference what needs to be deviated from as I don't have skyrim installed right now. but having this loose version should prevent omitting some of bethesda's new data if you use the latest version of skyrim.
Remove unneeded textures. Thanks j7armcaf0n97 for their list
Fix BSA Issue
Incorporate fixes from unofficial SSE patch
Incorporate hotfix
Version 1.1
For normal maps 256x256 resolution and under, I have compressed as bc7 production quality, instead of bc7 normal quality. See pictures for difference. I have not done this for other textures because the difference is not noticeable at larger resolutions, and it took 8 hours just for this small amount. This makes quality better, at no cost to you.
Also I provide BSA, please no more tears.
Where exactly does it mention it works for latest Skyrim?
It's not that kind of mod. Manually download and open this mod's archive and move all bsa's [into the Data folder] of your Skyrim Install location, likely located in "C:/ProgramFilesx86/Steam/SteamApps/Common". Select Yes to Overwrite. Don't bother with the texture folder.

Issues with old versions will not be supported.
Will the latest version of your mod for game version 1.6.1130 also work with game versions 1.6.1170 and 1.6.1179 (GOG)?
A simple yes or no will suffice.
Holding off downloading until this crucial issue is adressed
