It works fine for me. However, it doesn't remove all the snow, which detracts from the summer feel. I know that's part of the original mod, but is there any possibility of removing it for the SE version? Thanks for porting it!
Why somebody just not make port of some summer mods from LE to SE, to FULL confersion to summer Skyrim. Look, i go to nexus, look in search for "Summer" and see mod titled "Summer Skyrim OVERHAUL", but its not OVERHAUL at all )))) wtf? )
This appears to hide trees in the Riften area, while not removing/altering the collision geometry, so you end up having a lot of "invisible blocks." (Using a tree mod seems to help with this.)
Also moving from one area to another seems to not load grass at times and leave wide open flat plains, until reloading the game.Modifying iGrassCellRadius arbitrarily is bad. Apparently, it needs to be set to (uGridsToLoad-1)/2, or this is the effect... i.e. grass stops showing up as you walk around.
does the lod included in this mean just the green texture of ground or is it somehow possible to generate lods of this close range grass? actually i am looking for some green grass mod that does not require me to use dyndolod but has prebuilt lods
You can generate LODs or not. A few things I do is setup using BethINI first, then I'll run DynDOLOD to get the best look I can.
That's optional, of course. If you dont, it will just look like vanilla LODs in the distance, how Bethesda had intended.
I've only generated it once, as I've only done 1 "summer setup" in my game using this, and DynDOLOD handled it well, combined with BethINI settings. Hope that helps!
hey, so i uninstalled this mod to test, and the ground textures are still green, near whiterun for example, but when i go near it, its all brown, and it goes back to its original game, ground textures. any way to fix that?
Looks nice when it works, but it seems its either too much or nothing at all, either it is so overgrown, you cant walk through it, or it is just completely missing and also removing grasses from my other grass mods?It does the same to Verdant, Veydosebrom and Northern Grass, Large patchy areas where there is zero foliage when this mod activated.
Yeah, default...is supposed to be ALOT there. The foliage has been upscale resized, grasses are very thick, etc. It has it's own grasses in. I tried it with a separate grass mod, Northern, and didn't see any change from what this does either. Its like a "love it or leave it" mod haha!
Hehe, yes I do love the fact it has bushes some places so high you really cant walk through them and see more than a step in front of you, just as in real life. I have done some testing, and it seems somehow it was the recommended ini settings you listed that caused something to fubar in my list, i took the changes out of skyrim.ini, and immediately it seems to have resolved the issue i was seeing with areas completely stripped of foliage.
Wow! You weren't kidding when you say overgrown foliage! it was pretty neat inside caves and tunnels, but man, out in the open or even on roads and in towns it's quite a bit much.
Thank You for the mod. May be on my end but doesn't feel like summer. Still snow everywhere including the plants as others commented.. Tried it and wasn't for my tastes. Have a nice day.
Waist-length and shoulder-length grass? Isn't that too much? Stones and tree trunks shine like glass - this is not natural. I feel like an ant in a jungle of grass. It became simply impossible to play. It's a pity, but I can't use the mod.
Yeah, its pretty dense. As I am just porting it over, I would need permission to modify the files, which I'm not willing to do since there are alot of them, and I just don't have time IRL for it.

It sounds like it was uninstalled mid-game. The mod has an ESP...do not remove mods with plugins during a game. Its a recipe for disaster.

Just depends on look vs performance.
The ferns and others were actually built that way.
