Okay so I think the mod auhtor of this mod had a name change or something no idea - But if anyone gets confused like I did and see the Soul Husk all messed up with broken textures its because you need the "High Poly Soul Husks for cunny1975's textures" mesh version from high poly soul husks.
I see now only in comments the mod author commenting is named Cunny I was expecting "IWantATardis" as the mod author and to that end did not initially grab the right version of the mesh. Beautiful mod by the way.
I had to change my author name because in Latin apparently it means a female private part, what can i do, it's just an abbreviation of my surname but apparently loads of ancient people are on this site and took offence...right.
C@nny is a popular nickname for my surname, so i guess there are loads out there who are being called a female private part in Latin every day , aye well
Hello Cunny!I don't know if you'd be willing to check or not, but the mod Project AHO has some plants that uses Soul Husk mesh as a base for mashup. However, as they're vanilla-based, they aren't compatible with your texture. Do you think a patch could be made if you're interested? I can provide the meshes names for you if you are, but I'll understand if you aren't
Love it, though it reminds me a little too much of the textures on horn candles though. Would you consider a coral texture version something like this - Coral Texture Stock Photo Would look awesome if you could use transparency with a texture like a fan coral. Anyway, I digress.
has to be a seamless texture otherwise not too great, UV i did on it ain't perfect but i can't see anything unless i missed something, get the wskeever version, should make it main version really, download the meshes from his high poly soul husk mod page...nice texture that link but don't think it's seamless and it's protected as most google images are
i've been looking at some of your textures, are they found in noble skyrim or skyrim realistic overhaul? and do you use these mods as a base personally?
I don't use textures from other mods in my own mods, kinda defeats the object, but if you're talking about stuff in screenshots i installed Noble Skyrim first as a base, i have 3d trees and landscapes from mathy, there will only be few noble textures left as i've done retextures for Whiterun, Riften and Windhelm which i use anyway, truth is i install manually and i've overwritten lots of stuff over time so i'm not really sure what i have installed apart from what i've done...

I've just found a decent coconut husk texture on google images which looks ok, i'll have a see tomorrow. The UV's done on the meshes so i can do a few alternative textures pretty quickly tomorrow.
I'm pretty fond of how spongey these look, because the default texture reminds me of wheat crisps and this is much more organic. Like the coral style RTD era Tardis from Doctor Who! But I'm definitely curious to see any alt textures cunny has in mind because they're an absolute powerhouse.
You're a superhero! This looks so much better and it's such a neglected texture. The whole design of the soul husks is an odd, odd visual choice, and I think the original texture looks like wheat crunchies.

Edit : Maybe to change also the soulgems with soulcoconuts ;)
With this new textures (1.1) , the edges of the meshe are really less visible except those at the top.
