The generated console command batch filename will be 'dfirXX', XX is plugin loadorder, so DarkFaces of Skyrim.esm will be in 'dfir00', DarkFaces of 'light plugins' will be in 'dfirFE', and so on...
I need a little more guidance. Should I check every NPC record outside of Skyrim or may just select all and take a nap? I know a couple characters with "no face" just eyes and a mouth or or only a mouth. Checking Skyrim itself looks like every character is screwed. Thanks
What a great script. I've got a large-ish load order and it helped me pickup on a mod that was missing meshes. With so many mods It's easy to forge to do little additional tasks or tweaks you were going to do... like delete the facegen meshes because you were going to swap them out later haha
This tool is GOLDEN. Especially with a very large load order it can be very time consuming to try to narrow down the dark face issues. Thank you so much for making all of our lives easier LTmz!
In general I believe you do not need to keep it. DFIR is there to help you spot which NPC might have dark face. After running the script, any NPC potentially have dark face issue will be displayed in this esp. Then you should check them in game by using the auto generated bat command. If it is indeed a dark face issue, you fix them by reordering esp or making patches. More in depth tutorial can be found on Lexy's guide. Wartortoise have a nice video tutorials on youtube as well.

please and thank you
Just used it to resolve a bug resulting in the black face for Aela and Ria.
USMP - AI Overhaul Patch was overriding BijinAIO, and I never would've thought to look at that specific mod.
This script is reporting a large number of dark face issues with my load out. However I've spot checked quite a few of them and these NPC's look fine.
I'm guessing this script is not compatible with "High Poly NPC Overhaul - Skyrim Special Edition 2.0 (All Vanilla NPCs)"? This mod replaces the hair with wigs so I'm thinking your script is not expecting that?
Regards,
