    MCM to tweak setting, helpful

from old to new version, the main formula factor about this mod :
    base cost(vanila hiring base cost)
    level mult
    speech mult
    same race mult

and think of petprice and armortrollprice, mod will be better

(my game settings,  hiring price 10000, horse 10000, troll 5000, dog 2500. actually i prefer hiring cost more gold in later game to prevent player from recruiting too many follower. default formula does't fit my game, inconvenient to tweak the formula)

Hello! Does this mod affect the price for the trolls that you can hire from dawnguard? Thank you.

I was curious, does Erik the Slayer have a unique rate that he charges? I noticed in my game that hiring him was only around 240 gold compared to other mercs who charge around 3000. I actually like this change since he is a only novice mercenary lore-wise and the player character basically is the only reason he is able to do it in the first place. I was just wondering if that was an intentional part of this mod or if I have something else doing that.

Thank you for this mod, it has always bored me that hiring a person to risk its ass for someone else would cost less than a common horse.

EDIT: Got a problem, I can't hire mercenaries, it only shows the "another time perhaps" option.

      -1000

Another mod must be messing with this one, not sure which one unfortunately.

Looking through SSEedit and it seems there are ''dialogue topic'' condition conflicts with RDO, AFT, and RDO & AFT patch. Just changes these mods made over the base Skyrim.esm record, but remain unchanged in this one (which is normal). Sound be easy enough to fix. If you guys have these mods let me know, but i feel many people do, so it's probably the cause.

When you save your game and reload, the dialogue fixes itself.

You should pin it! You must save and reload to make it work on the existing save.

Sheeeeeit. I had exactly this problem for the first mercenary I encountered. Checked ssedit for conflicts and it's absolutely not being overwritten by anything.

edit: should have read more deeply. re-loading fixed it - thanks !

Hey JaySerpa!  You've sure done a heck of a lot of great work.  I have a question.

I'm using this with tonycubed2's "Lots More Followers Reborn" and all of the mercenaries I talk to are charging somewhere between 350 and 500.  I don't know if it's a side-effect from running both mods at the same time, or if it was intended and there's just more expensive mercs out there that I haven't found yet.  Is there a way to jack up that price a little?

Hey Jay, how are you? see, I am using inconsequential npc, and you sad you tested with it...But with this mod installed, the mercenary at the banned mare in whiterun is charging only 1 gold... I uninstalled this mod and reverted the save(if i use a save made after talking to him the price continues) and it was fixed... so I do not know what could have happened. anyway, thanks for everything. PS: I do not have any follower framework mod.

I like the new prices but the added dialogue feels unnecessary. More importantly you have to use existing NPC responses which makes the dialogue very unspecific and unimmersive, because it makes it obvious that you're interacting with mod features rather than the character.

Sure, be right back, kidnapping the original actors so they can create lines that are more fitting according to you.

I guess I wasn't clear. I would rather see "Consider yourself hired (modded price)." right away instead of extra dialogue. I understand that you have to use existing NPC responses if you want to add dialogue.

would it be rude of me to beg for an optional monthly/weekly fee mechanic for followers?

Check NFF! It has that feature built in :)

that mod is too heavy too many features. I just want some simple features for my followers. I've got swiftly order squad, this mod, field medic and synergy to overhaul followers. I just need a dynamic weekly fee system to complete my follower.

No m8. NFF does smth similar to synergy but not as good and comprehensively as synergy. nff does have similar function like swiftly order squad but it lacks the neat implementation and the ui (which i already removed from my game). i didnt know about applying potion function of NFF so ill give it that. And the fee system of NFF is pretty good but the problem is NFF also has a dozen more functions that i have no need for. plus the minimum number of followers on that mod was two instead of 1 that i was looking for

@ProStyle13 nether follower framework and that mod isn't heavy. It's pretty light compared to other follower frameworks and it''s more cleaner.

i am not sure if this is possible to implement since i dont know much, but is it possible to make various task be more expensive? like dragon hunting, giant or bandit hunting? also is it possible to have them request more money (or the difference) when taking on task that you didnt pay for? lets them flee if a dragon suddenly attack (specially if you didnt pay for that task) etc. or ask you for more money when entering a dungeon. or make them react when you absorb a dragon power from dragons or dragon walls.. lol i know thats too much but i was just wondering.
