Which we all want (need) and because they don't want the hassle of constantly updating numerous mods because Bathesda, you rant and insult them. Have a word with yourselves smh. Maxu also provides open permissions so others can do the updating so guess what? You still get to eat your cake. Give them a break (or a coffee) and show some respect! Linking us AE users to the downgrader instead of just, oh I don't know, trying to make a version of the mod for AE or saying upfront you don't support AE, is absolutely asinine. Hope you got a good laugh though. AE is better regardless.

The author just try to save your nerve and time leading you strait to the answer how to solve your problems but you resist for some reason. 1.597 is the best and stable version. Believe me I've tried 1.640 couple of times and it ended up reinstalling all skse mods and going back to 1.597
I could tell you that Racemenu morths and SSE engine fixes conflicts in 1.640 and they make morths not apeal in realtime in game so mods like obody works just partly and fertility and other sex mods don't work at proprerly at all. Also some bugs related to SMP physics in 1.640 is also presented and they probably will never going to be fixed. Also you don't have SKSE fix for high heels in 1.640 just mere esp. plugin trying to do the same job but fails most of time.
So just don't blame author he defenetly has his own reasons to tell you that's the best way to run his mods.
I bet you never created a Mod and are too immature to understand someone's freedom to NOT update every damn mod because someone plays a version he does not. We don't go around AE mods hating on people to give us our version.
downgrade patcher breaks my game, destroys a lot of the textures/meshes from the game. I know for a fact that it's the downgrade patcher, by the way. Even with no mods installed, as soon as I use the downgrader and launch the game through skse for 1.5.97 the game is missing most of the textures and a lot of meshes are missing
@raw666: the author of the mod points AE users to the downgrader patch, I was asking if the mod is compatible with AE straight up, not AE-downgraded-to-SE, both things are not the same unfortunately.
this is false, you never tried the downgrade. By downgrading, you use 1.597 se executable with AE archives data (but 1.597 interface.bsa to avoid a bug). So all mods based on AE are compatible (unless there is only AE skse version, which is extremely rare)
honestly i had alot of issues downgrading and had to re update for a more smooth modding process. the ddl files on alott of mods would refuse to run with the downgraded version
Pity that some authors plain refuse to update their mods to AE out of pure spite. There's literally no downside of providing an option for both AE and non-AE users. Oh well, this is a nice mod to have, but certainly not something I can't live without, so it will go in the bin once I get around to updating.
To be fair, they have this posted on their about: "I will port plugin to anniversary edition myself when I consider the plugin could running on AE stably enough."
So an eventual port to AE is not out of the question. We just need to be patient or learn to do it ourselves. ;)
ManiEsk Its absolutely not true, indeed I would say that it is the exact opposite, just look at the downloads to realize it, even for files with the same upload date and the same mod, SE has always a ton of downloads more. Authors continue to prefer SE, get over it. Carboniac It is not a pity, authors aren't stupid, the majority of users have not switched to AE for valid reasons, mainly because there are fundamental mods that will never be ported, and finally because AE has nothing worth installing it for.
