Hey! One of the side quests got stuck in my journal and won't complete, but the note is not in my inventory and in the mcm the "shipment" category says "stopped" even though it's still in my journal. All the quest steps are ticked as complete and I got my reward from Sorli (it was a shipment from Sorli sidequest). So I can't get it out of my journal.
Any tips for a console command to remove it from my journal? The mod works super well something just got bugged in my game.
Hi @wSkeever! So by steps I assume you mean what transpired in my game, before the quest got stuck in my journal.
So I was trying to become thane in Morthal (my quest log is full of quests from all over Skyrim at this point), and I accidentally ended up in Stonehills, where I talked to Sorli the Builder, and she gave me the Shipment for Sorli the Builder sidequest after I asked her if she needs help.
After that I accidentally stole some items from her, but she didn't seem to mind, and I left for Morthal. I got waylaid and ended up doing Labyrinthian as part of the College quests. When I stepped out after finishing Labyrinthian I got attacked by bounty hunters sent by Sorli because I stole from her (guess she didn't forgive me).
I finally make it to Morthal, and pick up the shipment from the Inn (?), and go back to Sorli. She accepts it, I recieve the gold, and the quest says completed.
Later on I check my quest log for other reasons, and notice the Shipment for Sorli the Builder is still in my quest log, except all the steps are ticked/marked as complete, but the quest itself is not in my completed section, it's still top of the list of my normal/active quests.
Then I went here and typed my first comment and now we are here =)
@wSkeever Update! The quest is gone, it disappeared from my journal, joy! No idea why it got removed now all of a sudden, but I'm happy! Your mod fixed itself, it's an extra great mod!
Since plenty of people are asking in the comments, The Female NPC replacer being used in the screenshot are from The Ordinary Women SSE. Though, I can't tell if OP added some skintex/eye replacer on top of that.
in the mcm menu i turned off some quests (gather ingredients, tempering, shopping, etc.) then i got a notification that says something like i have turned off all the location based quests and it could cause unimmersive dialogue. but this notification comes up whenever i load save and i have to press OK multiple times to make it go away. sorry if i wasnt clear before. i really hope there is a way to disable that notification. thanks again for this amazing mod :) i really cant play without it, great job <3
There is an issue when the NPCs give me quest, keeps repeating "Of course" forever. I read some of the comments, it is said game may be slow or sth. Anyone knows any fix for this issue?
all I know of is Harder Thaneships and At Your Own Pace - Thane module. Both of these require you to become friends with a higher number of people in cities in order to become thane. This is a challenge in vanilla because only a few people in each city actually have enough content to raise their disposition. I would imagine that any dialogue mods that add more lines to people you're friendly with might also benefit, but I can't name any off the top of my head. Other than that, i have to imagine it's mostly for RPing purposes.
from the description: Q: What's the benefit of improving disposition with NPCs? A: NPCs will become friendlier with you. You will be able to sleep in their houses and take some of their possessions. NPCs might become your followers or potential spouses. You might get better prices with merchants. Some mods might confer other benefits: for example, you will be able to enter their homes by knocking with Simply Knock. See UESP article on disposition.

Thanks for this bit. I really dislike ingredient quests but am happy to do most anything else.
Also checked the code. Normal execution wouldn't cause this.
Must be something on your end.
Can't help you, worked fine even on my ancient cpu.
