I'm running USSEP and had to make this so no. I'm not actually convinced it's a bug, as the Dawnguard being pissed at you for joining the vampires makes sense.
But how did they know that you joining the vamps ... no one of them are withe me/you there ... can you pls add that they dont attack you if you visit them ^^
USSEP will not add this fix. Arthmoor said that it makes sense that they attack you because they may have not received word that you've been cured. Basically, it's a excuse disguised as logic lol... IMO. But, no, this will not be added to USSEP.
I'm lazy now and don't feel like searching, but if I can find my post I'll copy/paste Arthmoors response.
Its make sense that they attack you even if you're cured, You may no longer be a vampire but you're still A Fucking Tarator who gave a vampire with an elder scroll to their mortal enemies and then joined their sworn enemies for the selfish if brief desire for immortality and if you played the dawnguard questline you definitely killed plenty of their guys and even their huskies.
I mean, just because you're cured doesn't really excuse the fact you sided with the vampires and that involves killing dawnguard members and aiding the vampires willingly. I feel they wouldn't just say "oh you aren't a vampire anymore? crimes forgiven."
So glad this is a mod! I've had the stupid Dawnguard tailing me for years since I've been cured. It seems ridiculous that they would be trying to kill the world's best hope against Alduin, when I'm no longer a vamp. Thank you for this. I can't wait to make them take a chill pill.
It's not a glitch or bug, if you sided with Lord Harkon you would be a threat, to the DawnGaurd and there theology as a whole, the guild thoroughly dislike vampires and vampire sympathizers and they will kill them both indiscriminately due to their affiliations with vampire and vampire kind and besides, there are other dragonborn besides you
the answer is there are non you are the LAST dragonborn and no matter how many people THEORIZE there are other dragonborns (again other than Miraak) there aren't there are NO CANON sources that support the theory
Except that there are three Dragonborns that appear in Skyrim: the Player, Miraak, and Potema. Remember that Miraak was supposed to be the "Last Dragonborn" until he decided he didn't want to kill Alduin after all and left for Apocrypha. The Covenant between Akatosh and Alessia happened sometime later, and all Emperors from that point on until Martin were Dragonborn as well. The only reason it took so long for another "Last Dragonborn" to appear was that Alduin had been yeeted forward in time to 4E 201, and until then there hadn't been a need for another World-Eater Defeater, so the position of "Last Dragonborn was vacant again. We as the player are only TLD because we defeat Alduin in Sovngarde. If we had fallen to Potema beneath Solitude, she may well have decided that she didn't want the world to end before her new evil reign and fulfilled the prophecy instead, or Miraak could change his mind about killing Alduin as the End of the World means that he can't take over it himself.
maybe after the 12th time of me slaughtering their hit squad a dg member might be like "we're losing too many members, oh and btw, there are reports of witnesses and dg survivors that he let live, that the target ISN'T EVEN A VAMP ANYMORE"
Same could be said of Dark Brotherhood. After having killed the nth assassin, one would think they would go "Hold up... We might need to change our approach. Maybe if we lazily list to the left while attacking?"
Hey I've been away for a very long time and didn't see this until now. My knowledge of finding and fixing ITMs is very limited, Running this through SSEEdit's Quick Auto Clean removes 0 ITM records, but that's about where my knowledge ends. Can you give me more information on this?

This mod is needed.

As if that has ever stopped that team.
It's true tho.
