As a regular magic/staff user, I love the idea of this mod. It looks really nice! However...
Is it completely compatible with True Directional Movement WITHOUT Disable Turn Animation? True Directional movement has an MCM option where the character doesn't turn when the camera rotates if I'm not mistaken.
I have trouble with that one too. The only animation "working"(kinda.) is when I equip staff in left hand but even so the animation is not sincred when unsheathe which make seem staff teleporting on back and the hand reach the back 2 seconds later. When in right hand however... is a pure mess (it does the unequip dw spells animation).
if anybody has the answer to this please help, im currently trying to diagnose my staves not showing up in hand at all when equipping from back with IED, not sure if this has anything to do with this mod, but im looking everywhere
Generally, I love these animations....Except the shouldering of a sword. It isn't just this mod though. I was raised to never point a knife at myself, so the 2H shouldering makes me cringe just as badly. All I see is people slicing their neck, badly. Trip and fall = killmove_self.
Is there any way to remove the sword shouldering from the animations in a fomod or, alternatively, can I just delete/hide some files in my folder?
I don't mind the animation at all, I mean, it's just a game and if I start check what would be dangerous in game as real counterpart I shouldn't even exit from a tavern... but it seems (from testing) that it goes well with Smooth Moveset mod (I loaded that one before this one).
I don't think this work well with CGO. Sword+staff run animation is just won't work no matter what I try the hand with sword is not holding the sword on my character's shoulder like on the video.
I have the same issue, but it was like that even before this animation mod. Do you also have dual sheath mod? I'm guessing there is just no animations for staff drawing/sheathing anywhere

EDIT: So I disabled Smooth Moveset and everything seems to work except for the swinging animation which is still vanilla.
Would love to see you add drawing and sheathing animations for staffs as well in the future
