Uninstall Wearable Lanterns MCM Fix. Wearable Lanterns MCM Fix included an LE/Oldrim version of StorageUtil.dll which will completely prevent SKSE from loading any dll plugins.
During installation, the 4k texture option is set by default, when I choose the 2k option - a warning pops up that 4k textures are recommended and changing them may cause an unstable game.
Why is this happening? (I assume it's the nordic lock, a door in a nordic tomb) I just reinstalled the latest versions of both SKSE and po3 Tweaks. Tried with 1K and 2K textures, so far only encountered this lock out of the new ones, I assume it's the same with other types, but even if not, how do I fix this?
Edit: I'm stupid, placed the textures into a wrong folder because the archive has different folder location that the main mod :P
I have the same issue. I thought that it might be a conflict with another mod or an .ini setting, but I never tested either theory because it wasn't hurting anything and I was really only spitballing there. I did see StrayHALOMAN suggest that setting BSLightingShaderForceAlphaTest = false in EngineFixes' .toml might be responsible. I have that set because I use Mirhayasu's Skyrim and Solstheim maps for Flat World Map and it's needed for that mod. It being a hardware issue makes a lot more sense. Most of my hardware is still from 2016.
thanks guys, my hardware is from 2016 too, I'm pretty sure that I don't had this issue os past.. I'm gonna check these option on engine fixes, comeback later with the results

Hey, apologies if I missed something in the install- but I'm having this issue where the transparency of the underwater variant is bugged. It seems some of the textures are just full colors instead of being see-through like normal. No other locks are like this. I also only have the Unofficial Patch, and the fix for Kolbjorn Barrows corrupted textures installed. link to image here- https://imgur.com/a/1lJeCLz
The safe I was picking was found at the bottom of the pier in Raven Rock, and deleting
[Underwater] Door = interface/lockpicking/sos/lockpick_Lock01_Water.nif Chest = interface/lockpicking/sos/lockpick_Lock01_Water.nif
from the Addonds_LID text file fixes the issue by just removing the texture.
I installed the latest version available, and also have your other lockpicking mod installed if that helps.
Using this mod as well and can't see this issue. Looks like as if the mesh is missing the alphas for these textures. I just downloaded the mod again and looked into the .nif - everything is alright...only if I manually delete the 'alpha' it looks exactly like in your picture.
And you are not using texture replacers for 'textures\landscape\grass\CoastKelpGrass01.dds' or 'textures\plants\NordicBarnacle01.dds'? If it is not the mesh the textures must missing the alpha channel to produce such a result.
Maybe that is a little late, but i have the same problem. I use the Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM - SMIM SE 2-08, could that cause any issues? The underwater lock looks very ugly. How could I resolve this conflict?
I have this same issue, and also use SMIM. I checked my Data folder and I don't have any (loose) CoastKelpGrass01.dds or NordicBarnacle01.dds textures present. Perhaps the issue would be fixed if these textures were packaged with the mod?
Do you know what would be really cool (I have no idea if it would even be possible)? If there were different lockpick meshes to go with the type of lock. Like a dwemer lockpick for a dwemer lock. Maybe even make them separate objects in your inventory. Like you can't pick a falmer lock if you only have a dwemer lockpick.
Like I said, I have no idea if that's even possible with the game engine but it would be cool and immersive.

Not a big problem since there are like two underwater chests in skyrim, but I would still like to know.
It probably has more to do with video card or video driver issues than anything the mod does
