From SSEEdit for this mod. I am on newest version and this mod is no longer relevant but this could be something else:
Users with the best of both worlds downgrade may still use this mod.

this isn't a game error it is just that the mod group I made to tell xEdit when running the filter for conflicts that the conflicts with USSEP are intended and correct. BUT since USSEP updated the file isn't the same anymore and xEdit is now just telling you that the modgroup hasn't been updated.

Between the newly updated USSEP and garthand's Unofficial Creation Club Content Patches which will resolve the conflicts between USSEP and the DLCs, as well as addressing other bugs in them that the USSEP is not covering, you are good to go as those are the only two mods you'll need. So I'd say this mod is no longer relevant if you're using the current updated USSEP.

modgroups are only to hide intended conflicts between mods. But I didn't bother updating the modgroup after the last USSEP update which is why this message appears in your log.

So the patch does still work, but likely the new USSEP now does the same or at least similar.

As of today the USSEP has been updated to include Fishing so I'd say this patch is no longer needed.

Hello, I have a problem on my end, and I'm hoping if someone can help me with this, so this is what's happening:
I equip a fishing rod to start fishing, so my character is swinging it towards water, during this mode I should be able to move the rod and reel, and I shouldn't be able to move or fight right? but this is the problem I can actually move and fight while the fishing rod is activated in first person and I can reel too but I can't move the fishing rod at all, and if I move further away fishing mode will cancel.
I'm trying so hard to figure out what's causing it, but no avail. I'm pretty sure it's caused by another mod but I have tons of them, I tried disabling the ones I'm suspecting to be the culprit, but it solved nothing.
I'm wondering if anybody has this issue and figured out how to solve it.

    Thanks in advance.

Does this fix the problem with crab meat not dropping from mudcrabs or showing up in fishing barrels?

Been a while since I made this, if the mod breaking it was USSEP then this might fix that.

What do I need to overwrite, in a subsequently loading ESL, to "unfix" the change to the quantity of Salmon Roe from dead Salmon?

not sure if the other patches updated so IDK. Check it in xEdit. And compare to the other patches you are using.

Does this fix the problem of the new fish not spawning at Windstad Manor after you add them to the Fish Hatchery?

This only fixes positioning issues and wrong objects being in certain positions, if other mods like the current USSEP(This is just an example mod cause I noticed it there first) overwrite the fishing mod ESP. So no it doesn't fix that issue.

So I briefly took a look the plugin, and I think the mod "Aniversary Edition Creation Club USSEP fixes" is a better alternative, if you have USSEP.

      It is not.

      1. It is a merged patch for all off the CC Mods the author was using and not an individual patch that lets you pick and choose.
      2. If you think the plugin of the other patch is better show some proof as to why and I can say you why I didn't forward a change the other patch did.

As I stated in last update, there is not much things remaining in that patch anymore. I think I didn't even remove unneeded masters, so yeah. Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patches got updated today. I didn't check the changes yet, dunno if anything fishing related was fixed there. Anyway, my patch was never designed for late load order and with no expectation of other mods overwriting it's records.

From the description, this mod is supposed to be a fix for other mods modifying same records as fishing creation mod does, basically duplicating some fishing mod records so that they win over other mods. But I didn't check this, and dunno if I will.

Edit: so i took a look at the plugin too. The changes are similar as my plugin does, with exception of forwarding extra water height record from fish mod. On the other hand, it is not forwarding some minor USSEP changes for salmon, which won't really break anything. I can still imagine use for this mod, if you have something overwriting the records in between.

Just to be clear I wasn't trying say your patch is worse, they are just different in their approach. I for one didn't forward the USSEP change since I consider the behavior it implements a conflict with the way the fishing mod intends fishing and the loot you get from it to work. And for the water I am assuming (it is hard to know for sure) that the height record was changed to say "Default" instead of a number value on purpose in some relation to the fishing.

And yeah the Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patches haven't added fishing yet. So until they do both our patches have use for different people preferring different things. :D
