Q: Does it work with R.A.S.S., Wet and Cold and other similar mods which add shader effects? A: Yes. In fact it should complement any such mods.
Q: Does it add effects in rain or snow? A: Yes, since version 1.1.0. It's disabled by default. I still recommend using ENB rain wet surfaces instead of this since it applies effects to the entire scene not just characters.
Q: Why do some objects reflect less light or none at all? A: Specular map textures define how much light is reflected on different areas of each mesh, some meshes may have specularity disabled altogether - it's up to the artist that designed it. There are many tutorials for editing these or you can grab a replacer.
I like wet effects redux but none of the mods are as good as this mod has the character wetness effect Is there any way to always keep the skin wet?? please that will be the GOAT mod for me
Great mod, been using it for a while! Thank you. Small thing though, I notice that it does not work with water from waterfalls? (I tried it with Danwguard waterfall)
My custom base 3BAV2 body and overlays have high specularity. I had to adjust the ini. file very high to get the desired effect. It works as described.
I found with my body's high specularity this setting worked without over doing it: MaxGlossiness=280 MaxSpecularStrength=10
100% Love it. Very nice. Thank you very much. rain and snow true. 90% of my exterior stuff looks wet. NPC, dog, dragon, clutter, most containers, archetexture... More than I expected. If it wasn't supposed to do this or glitch, I'm not fixing it. I am creating a surreal fantasy look on my game. This worked for me. Too bad, no rain in blackreach. sky 1.6.1130 Community Shaders.
This used to work for me last year, but since trying it again, it seems to cause an immediate crash to desktop upon attempting to start the game. No other mod is causing the same effect when this one is disabled.
this was working great for me, then i switched enb's and (i think) it caused issues with being able to see this take effect. can anyone recommend what i should set my skin specular/wet surfaces amount to so i can see wet effects? im using PI-CHO ENB ( Based on Silent Horizons) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) the default skin specular amount is 1.30 and the wet surfaces amounts are also set low (most are 1 and below) any help would be appreciated =]

MaxGlossiness=800
MaxSpecularStrength=15

(30 min.) Works for me.
