Then I will inform you that this mod does not add armor, but adds space robo-ponies. It seems that this is exactly what I indicated in the description. Or is it not?
Hi, I was hoping you could help. When I use your mod with this mod Lets HDT those ARMORS at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) the Silver Aromr, which should replace steel plate armor, doesn't show the helmet in game. If I use your mod without the replcer mod then it shows fine. If I use the replacer alongside Improved closed face helmets then my PC or NPC's appear bald with no helmet and without the closed face mod they appear headless (kind of funny though). I've checked the armor addon file path in the replacer mod and it does show a correct file path of your mod, although it does point to helmet2 mesh file. I changed it to the others to test but it made no difference. I am very confused why the helmet shows in game when just using your mod (even with the hdt patch) but doesn't show when using the replacer. Any idea to why this might be? Fantastic mod anyway and I'll use it as standalone if I can't fix the replacer.
SOLUTION: I finally figured out what is wrong. In this mod the slots being used are: hair, longhair, circlet and ears. This is for both the armor and armor addon in CK. The base game version of the silver plate armor only uses the head slot for the helmet. The slots in the replacer mod have to be changed in both the armor and armor addon to match this mod and not left as just using the head slot. This can be done in CK very easily and I think in xEdit.
armor is cool, but some part of it trails a long thin shadow from my follower (lydia) to me whenever the sun is out to generate a shadow. no idea what's causing this, never seen it before.
