Is this compatible with Animal Selector by r1kai? AFAIK it doesn't change the screen for purchasing animals but it does change the screen where you choose what barn or coop the animal goes to.
Just tried it out and it works fine. Content patcher mods overwrite existing assets and wouldn't cause a conflict. The conflict would come from a mod that might offer new or additional animals for sale, rather than just replacing old ones.
Hay dispensers are still tied to the level of coop/barn. So are the amount of animal slots. This just allows you to put a higher tier animal in a lower tier building (e.g. put a sheep in a small barn without having to upgrade the barn.)
