I'd like to second the request for different colored campfires so we can make a full blown multicolored fireworks show. There is another mod I know of that changes campfire colors, but it only holds one color in memory at a time, so you can do a multicolored fireworks show, but you have to type in a new color code every time you change colors, so it is a very slow show. But I think with the way this mod works, it should work much better. Anyway, just a thought, would be really cool if you could make it happen!
Gates is fixed I'll jump on this one soon. I have to manually type out the recipes in my script now bc the way JVL is set up so Its just going to take some time. more gates went from 80ish lines of code to around 600ish to put it into perspective. By the end of the week I'll have it updated.
if 1.0.1 works well for you I'd suggest using that version all 1.0.2 does is use jotunn instead of jotunnlib to help people who previously had compatibility issues. 1.0.2 is also bugged currently so when I release 1.0.3 its going to have all the same features just using different dependencies.
Has anyone experienced a massive frame drop with this. I dont use it personally but there is one guy on our dedicated server who uses this lighting mod! I hate it.. in multiplayer it makes everyone on the dedicasted server drop down to 3 to 4 fps? I have a feeling it may not do this on people personal solo games? but Im just wondering if this is causing some type of issues with a dedicated server? Do you think this mod could possibly cause desync issues as well? thanks for any and all help. cool mod but it makes us who even are running 3-4 grand gaming pcs to have 3 to 4 fps when near structures with this lighting
No clue, certainly not my machine or internet. But I do know other people on the server when they go near the person in questions base they drop down to 1-4 fps also. He got rid of the Lighting effects and boom no more fps drop.. Just something interesting I thought id comment about..
It is interesting indeed. I literally took a torch and applied a different color to existing effects. So no larger images no extra shading or anything. I suspect something might be trying to hook into my mod maybe and is causing this issue? Its really hard for me to tell whats going on since we have so little data and the mod itself is SUPER simple. Keep me posted if you find anything and I'll do what i can to fix it. As of right now Im not sure what it could even be. Is it possibly a vulkan thing? or are you running directx.
Not a huge thing but, found it interesting that the standing wood/iron torches make a campfire noise when the original standing wood torch makes 0 noise. Haven't tested other items (brazier, sconce). Sound of all the torches gets quiet burdensome, especially in a small area. [Otherwise, totally love the Mod]

I'll be on 1.0.1 and watch for the fixed update.
