Do it works in mistlands update? Also, is it a client side mod? I notice that you can select types so I wonders if this mess with server info about your character.
Just going to add a comment, but aedenthorn did kind of show me the way with the layers, and I really do think that is the way to go. I did layers with my WyldTats mod, and now I am running your eyes mod with my tats, no custom patch needed.
Great work on your mod here my friend. Loving it!!!
hey, i dont know what im doing wrong. i got the required mods, i have the thunderstorm installer, and i had the eyes plus tattoo skin showing up once, but had to change something, and since then they dont show up anymore. i redownloaded and replaced everything necissary, and some mods still show up, others not at all. i dont know what to do or the issue is, but i reeeally want the eyes and skin
Looks good! I think I could add functionality to the textures mod to allow for layers, i.e. if another mod wants to change the whole body texture, you could specify that your eyes are just a layer to be added on top, and then you would only need a transparent texture with just the eyes
Yes, layers are a thing, I created a layer version of this mod for personal use already. If anyone wants, they can just remove all the pixels except for the eyes and add _RealEyes to the texture name and it should work as a layer.
Another question - I'm in a multiplayer world, and when I asked one of the other players if he could see pupils in my eyes, he told me he couldn't. Is that expected behavior, that only I can see my improved eyes (and the Woad Warrior texture I'm also using), or is there a way to let everyone see them?
Hi, to my knowledge, all these texture mods are client side (only the person who installed the mod) can see it. I'm not entirely sure how, but I think people can make mods serverside for everyone to see. You'd have to look up some guides on how to make mods serverside, sorry I couldn't be more help!
Cool to have. Just one minor thing maybe add just one more image to the mod page showing the default spirit eyes of male and female just to have them side by side on the page. :)
Y'all do realise we're dead in Valheim, right? We're spirits, picked by Odin after falling in battle on Midguard (Earth), to fight the evil that has returned, hence, the whole "spirity looking" eyes? :P
Lmao. Glad it seems you didnt take it negatively. As with all retextures, everyone will have their own tastes. Personally, I probably got used to the blue glowing eyes, seeing these it has quite the jarring affect XD
Out of curiosity, is it possible to adding a glowing effect to them? I understand that these are "Real Eyes", and as with any mod, they all take quite a bit of effort. Make the pupils glow to your eye colour, but not the whites of the eyes. Will give them a bit more 'pop' I feel.
I dont want to make it seem like I'm making a request and adding to your workload, just a curiosity if it is it something that can be done quick and easy

I honestly have no idea if there's a way to add glowing eyes, but I definitely want to try it out if its possible, that's a really good idea!
