Hello there, first at all, thanks for your good work, since me and my friend are new to this game, could you explain how to install this file to make it work?
How do you change the hotkey for zooming in and out? I cannot find the information for this. I suggest stating on the forum page how you change the hotkey instead of just saying that its possible to change the hotkey.
Can you make it so the items in the quick slots are highlighted as you scroll, but not actually equipped until you stop scrolling (with a configurable delay to determine when scrolling has actually stopped)? This would eliminate the need to wait for every single item to equip in turn as you scroll, making for much smoother transitions.
Yeah, I know. I don't want to add that mod though because I actually like the equip animations. That's why I was wondering if it's something you could figure out.
Well, I definitely think that would be a good idea. To me the equip animations are a part of the game that I like, so I wouldn't want to take them away. It would just be nice if this mod didn't automatically equip as I'm scrolling through.
Also, this mod doesn't work properly with building... Even if I use the lock key to disable it still zooms in and out as I'm rotating. Until that gets fixed this mod just won't be usable.
In my opinion, this mod should be turned off completely during building and building should just work as usual. I can't imagine why anyone would want to be able to scroll through equipment during building anyways...
Installed this mod didn't like the build interaction so disabled it. I can no longer use the #8, to select my 8th hotbar slot. Thoughts?
#8 works in windows, and in the chat window, just can't select the hotbar #8
edit: was something funky with "equip and quick slots mod" had no issues with that mod until uninstall this mod. to fix, i had to delete "equip and quick slots" mod/config and reinstall. then it started working.
The solution would be to not equip the item until it's been selected for a certain amount of time. So as people are scrolling through, it wouldn't actually equip the item, but if they stay on that item for say, half a second or a whole second, then it equips the item and they start using it. Easy. Well, the concept is easy, I have no clue how easy/hard that is as far as programming it, but given the flexibility of Unity modding, I'm sure it's at least possible.

Edit : the bug is fixed, if you encounter other bugs you can report them in the section "Bugs".

I agree with other comment: Block the item scroll when building, so you can rotate the buildings without holding shift.
