    working 4.04
    i'm terrible with counter attack and wanna get 10 counter achievement in tutorial...

    Confirm working for 4.04.

    However, as far as the game mechanics work, increasing the window of counter allow only makes countering slightly easier. As explained by the creator of the Legendary Counter mod, the game keeps track of how many times we press Parry (Right Mouse Button for PC), and only if we press Parry only 1 time during the counter window that we get a counter. If we do not press Parry, there will be no counter. If we press TWICE or more, there will also be no counter. Without understanding how this works, increasing the counter window can create a completely different problem that still prevent you from countering.

    If you are comfortable with editing codes yourself, you can read on the Legendary Counter mod and apply the same code when you install this mod. If so, countering will become extremely easy, without forcing you to always counter like the Force Counterattack mod.

    To be honest, I don't quite understand how exactly this is calculated... but in practice, something is wrong here. In general, I expected to be able to guarantee a counterattack if I pressed a key during the attack animation. For the sake of experiment, I increased the number to 2.4 in order to accurately feel the difference ... and did not. Feelings are about the same - for example, with an elemental, whose attack is rather slow, but the window for a counterattack is small. Then I set the number to 0. I'm not entirely sure, but the effect is that the window has moved closer to the start of the attack.

      This is not what I want. In my opinion, to counterattack, you need to make at least some effort. I'd like to counter attack the enemy when he starts playing the attack animation, not when the game decides to give me a hint to do so.

      agree with your observations using the 3x counter I didn't notice difference something seems off here.
