I hope this can help u guys solve the problem because this mod now works for me in this way. The reason this mod doesn't work is because of the file name. Try to change the file name "modUnlimitedDurability" to "modAUnlimitedDurability" or "modAAUnlimitedDurability". This will put this folder at the top of the mods folder, so this mod can work! How do you apply mod priority? So, if a mod folder is renamed to ""modA__________", does that make it load before every other mod? All other mods would load after making ""modA__________" low in priority, correct? Mods which load last have a higher priority, correct? Or is it the other way around? With Skyrim, I use LOOT. Is there something similar for TW3?
EDIT: I think I figured it out. Mod loading priority can be configured in 'mods.settings' found in '..\Documents\The Witcher 3', correct?
does anyone have a freaking mod that does not lose you durability for armor and weapons ? None of them work for next gen ... 2 weeks now im searching and checking if someone has updated anything or fixed anything or whatever ... if you guys know a modTHAT WORKS plz let me know . thank you
This mod, AND the other one you commented on, works just fine. HOW are you installing mods? Are you also running the Script Merger after installing? Are you running Witcher 3 1.32 or 4.02?
i use script merger yes and im instaling them via it ... and yes i tried to install it manually .. and yes i unequiped and reequiped ... and i use the latest versiom of the witcher ... and yes i run script merger to deal with any confilcts (allthou i dont get any). When i say it dosent work ... im not saying to just say it ... i tried everythingg... and non of the work
Are you using mod limit adjuster and have it set to 10000? Also recommend using the witcher script merger for any incompatibilities. Then have you made sure you dont have any pre next gen update mods that youre using that might be causing the error? Some next gen also doesnt work like the other indestructable items mod here on nexus. Also lighting and weather mods can cause the game to crash for some reason in only velen, so remove those too. If it works without any mods, try these first and if it still doesnt work try to add the mods manually to the mods folder in the witcher 3 game directory (since youve tried it I assume you got a mods folder) and put in one mod at a time, start the script merger and see if anything is incompatible, start the game and make sure to go into the actual game bc sometimes the main menu starts but not the game, just to see what works and not. Im sorry if im over simplifying but I dont know anything about you, its not to put you down.
If absolutely nothing works, try verifying the games files, reinstall witcher, restart your computer or make sure you have all the latest drivers and updates. I cant think of anything else, if it still doesnt work, try to post on reddit in the witcher 3 subreddit and see if others can help. Make sure to list all the things youve tried and what mods youre trying to get to work for the best and fastest help.
Doesn't work for GOG new-gen. Unfortunately, weapon degradation is still a thing. If it does not work for you, try usind WitcherScriptMerger - this fixed it for me.
