Unfortunately, the latest version of the Rebirth mod (REBIRTH EXPERIMENTAL 2025.02.19 2000 - 7dtd v1.3 b9 Stable) does not work in multiplayer. Error message: mods: [email protected](missing)
It does NOT have 2 handed bows or real working scopes... TBD in future It does NOT have a ton of other features we still want to add! Look for continued updates in the future!

Hey all, got a bug question - ever since I started playing, I've had the purple XP bar stretched across the center of my screen at all times. I've mostly learned to tune it out, but my friends don't experience this so I'm wondering if this is a known issue? Screenshot attached, ignore the tiny player - separate bug haha.
Check in the settings if you have adjusted the "UI Scale". We use hard coded screen coordinated for breaking the display into "shards" so if you made your menu slightly bigger/smaller that might be it.
The small player isn't a "bug" per say. height calibration can be done holding both thumb sticks to try and let people be "their real height". This can be extra funny if you calibrate when sitting on the ground OR standing on a chair! If this is not intentional have them hold both thumb sticks in for 5ish seconds OR switch between seated and standing mode. If none of those fix him it is likely a guardian floor height issue.
Hey folks, I have clocked close to 100 hours on this and my friends and I are loving it. Extremely stable especially compared to other VR mods.
One thing I am struggling with is vehicle steering. From what I can tell, you have to use only the left thumbstick (on Quest 3) to both steer and accelerate instead of left stick to move and right stick to turn like when walking. This leads to me constantly zig-zagging when driving or flying since I can't really stick to the sweet spot of perfectly forward.
Do you have any suggestions? Is there a setting I missed or perhaps any plans to adapt this control? Thanks a lot for your help.
Please incorporate the ability to use DLSS from this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/6781?tab=files) into your next 7DVR mod update, thank you.
It has been investigated by Kaaliba some but it is not working right and is no easy feat. We will continue to play with FSR and DLSS but I can't give you a timeline when we will be able to "make it work". Sorry. Thanks for the suggestion and for trying our mod!
glad you are enjoying. The vanilla game settings does let you adjust UI size. it might mess with the pieces in "mixed" UI mode but you could see if you found a value that didn't mess with shards too much but let you see a little better. Sorry for the slight unexpected challenge!
Hey guys, great job on the mod. I'm not sure if this has been answered elsewhere, but I seem to have tiny baby hands in the game. Is that expected or is there anything I can do to get them to match closer to the Steam VR hands? Thanks in advance.
hold down both sticks as the button for ~5 seconds OR switch between seated and standing mode in the settings menu. it SOUNDS like the game calibrated with the headset too low and thus you are a little baby character! If that doesn't help, check the floor level of your guardian!
Worst case you can play in seated mode even if standing, it just doesn't try to make your character "your height" then, but you can still play just fine
Many overhauls, yes. Not sure anybody has tried Tarkov. We do support Darkness falls and many other major overhauls. Some of them you need to remove a menu changing mod (like SMX) or do a little find&replacing to make them perfectly mesh. Just before 1.0 we had a fix for that but the 1.0 code broke the way we were auto-fixing. oops!
It sounds like the files for your RWG map have been corrupted. I would guess that it won't load in flat either as this isn't a system we touch at all. Is this a save from before 7D2D went 1.0 possibly?

Flat2VR. There are channels for many different games and 7D2D is one of them. we can try to help faster there. getting your <game>/BepInEx/Logoutput.log file would probably help.
Hiyo! Just working on setting up a dedicated server for family group based around this. Is the posted compatibility spreadsheet current? Or was there a newer update
It's a living document so it is as updated as people have gone in to fix it... by that I mean it is probably a good guideline but is ultimately out of date. if there are specific mods you want to know about I might be able to answer or the discord is full of some of the most helpful people. Also there is no harm usually in trying and seeing if it works. GENERALLY so long as it doesn't mess with the camera or UI much, we are compatible. We do perform cruel and unusual acts to the harmony chain though so there is a chance we break something another mod relies on and it is out fault, not theirs. A few of the major overhauls use a big menu mod like SMX... we were auto adjusting to that at the end of A21, but the 1.0 update broke our auto-fixing code and we haven't repaired it yet. You can still play with those overhauls though either removing the "menu" mod from the folder OR with a little cut&paste editing of the xml
Epic! My VR unit is still in transit so have been building up the private server with the recommended mods and just more feature packs than anything. I probably may end up making my own spreadsheet notes to update while I play. We'll be testing with 1.2 (b27) which most mods are hit and miss with anyway.
