People, if you are having errors or issues, please always bring an output log file with you and use something like pastebin to link it here. My first response otherwise will just be telling you to get one. All I can really do without it is guess, and that just wastes both of our time. So bring the log with you the first time and make the process easier for us both.
Is there a way to make vehicles (like the BRDM) more resistant to obstacles? Every branch, cactus, or small rock sticking out of the ground instantly takes out half of the HP.
I had messed around with it quite a bit and couldn't sort out how to get the new passive effects they added to work, but just tried a few things now and think I have it working like I want. So hopefully when I update this mod for 2.0 whenever it goes stable I'll have it setup so the bigger, tougher vehicles don't take nearly as much damage from collisions.
The title of this site indicates Bdub's Vehicles (1.3) but the version listed just below that title indicates 1.2.1.2. Was this just an over site? Also, when I install the mod it also indicates version 1.2.1.2.
The issue is, I have a new instance of 7D2D (ver 1.4) folder and I've extracted all the files to the mods folder but I'm not seeing any of the vehicles in question. I'm probably doing something wrong. Any idea's?
I don't know where or how to get a log from 7D2D.
Do I need to D/L the Russian and Spanish versions as well?
Well son of gun. Your vehicles are in the creative menu list. I apologize for my ignorance. I was expecting to see some of the vehicles in the wild and when I couldn't find any I thought... Well anyway. Thank you for the assistance.
Something of a question on a discrepancy, maybe counts as a bug? that I found - your description says the Buggy uses 4x4 storage (9x9), but its entityclasses entry directs its lootlist to use BDvehicleL1, which is (9x6); I changed mine to use the default 4x4's container size as per mod description, but logically speaking, was the reduced storage deliberate to reduce the Buggy's capacity given its model's lack of a trunk/cargo compartment?
As a secondary thing: I know diddly squat about modding this game, but this seems like it'd fit your mod's purview if you're interested in doing it- a custom vehicle mod to 'compete' with the supercharger mod (so you can't have both) on flying vehicles, something like a 'heavy lift package', to boost storage in things like the Gyrocopter/Duster by a row or two like the drone's cargo mod does? I don't even know if it's possible to do, but having competing mod options is always a neat decision to have available.
EDIT: On further thinking, a storage mod like the drone's probably wouldn't work as the drone is only moddable when it's in your inventory, and deploying it is (I assume) deploying a different 'entity', unlike vehicles which can get things slapped on and off while it's placed. Only way I can figure to do what I was thinking would be to make a recipe that consumes the original vehicle to create a variant of it with boosted storage, and at that point it might just feel like menu clutter. Shucks.
Awesome vehicle pack! Everything looks great. How do you spawn the different variants of the Humvee such as the square open rear end instead of the covered slanted one? I found the humvee doors in the creative mode menu; is there another options set that removes the rear cover? Also how do I select the color of the vehicle? I noticed when I spawn them its 2 white, then 2 red, then 2 purple for example. Do I just spawn to cycle the color I want or can I choose?
Additionally, outside of creative mode I am not able to craft the vehicle. When I track the recipe, I have enough of all of the parts its demanding, however there is no crafting option available, it only says track. Ive read the skill books that came with the vehicle as well as a bunch of additional ones I spawned in Creative mode
When looking at them in creative it can randomly place dyes on them. All you do is place it down and use dyes to change the color like any other vanilla vehicle.
On the Loot.XML file I go to change the storage to values I feel are appropriate to the vehicles themselves, such as Humvee and Lmtv, I change the storage but it does not change it in game. I did save it but it doesnt work.
No idea. I'd make a test game and try it out. I have no clue what all DZ changes as far as perks and stuff. Maybe also try changing this mod's folder name if needed so that it loads after DZ. That may work if DZ doesn't change the perks too much.
I guess I never updated the descriptions. Just add the seating mod to the vehicle and you should get the full amount of seats. The BRDM for example was originally a 6 seater, but when vehicles mods got added I moved 2 seats to that mod rather than add even more seats.
Hello. I'm not having errors but there's a thing that is really annoying me with all your motorcycles, except for the Junker: they always make drift sound even when I drive them in a straight line. There's a way to fix this?
I tried to place a golfcart and a UH-60 down after crafting them on a server a friend is running, and both of them vanished into nothingness when I tried to place them.
Everything works perfectly for me when I try to place any of your vehicles in single player/creative...anyone know what might be causing the issue?
--------------- Edit: The server owner gave me access to the server files so I could troubleshoot it myself, somehow he did not install the entire "resources" problem fixed, mark this as a user error! xD

Thanks in advance.
The mod version still shows 1.2.1.2 because no updates were needed for 1.3 or 1.4.

Really impressive, me and my friends really like this mod.
But is there way to change storage capacity for each vehicle?
Its very strange why small car has same storage space as huge truck))

Did you try at a workbench?

Same with the BRDM. Only 4 ppl can enter :(
Sad. We are 5 people.
Would love this to work
