    Hello i have a question.
We have occupied a villa on our server and also have the problem that the zombies spawn in the base.

i realize that you have to remove 1 block everywhere and replace it with your modded one, but what about the house?
do you have to do anything there or do hordes generally not spawn in the house?

You need to place bedrolls down and a claim block to stop the POI spawns and any other spawns. I do not believe horde night spawns will spawn on blocks.

In addition to placing land claim and bedroll, to stop zombies from spawning inside, you will need to upgrade all the floor blocks at least one time. This has been effective on a very difficult server I've played on & how I learned to stop POI building spawning even when we had land claim block placed. I hope this helps.

I am very happy with your mod. I haven't had any zombies spawn inside the fence line, where I placed the NoSpawn terrain. This is a first! I've used this field for builds previously, so I actually have comparative capability. Thanks for the great mod! Link to Steam Screenshot of my house build and the field which I converted to NoSpawn terrain; credited, so more people can find your mod. I used the stone, asphalt, and top soil terrains.

Would it be possible to make the crafting requirements match the default blocks requirements ? It basically gives you a cheaper version of most like asphalt, though its not enough to make me stop using the mod of course

I too would prefer to be able to craft it rather than CM, if possible, please and thank you.

Will this stop the random zombies from spawning in your base ? Not just on hoard night.

Protip: instead of digging out the terrain and placing the nospawn blocks by hand, try using the admin replace tool from the creative menu. With the tool in hand, make a selection of your desired area with Z, left-click to eyedrop/copy a nospawn block you placed down, and right-click on the ground to replace all your regular terrain with nospawn terrain. Grass and other props are all left intact with this method. You can now press backspace to clear the selection box.

Be very careful not to press X or J (or simply unbind them before starting) while you have the selection box active. These will rotate your selected area or clear the entire selection respectively, so they can mess things up real bad if you hit them by accident.

Well I was looking for your mod for days. No forum linked to it, no search found it. So I made my own. I wouldn't of made it if one had already existed, does your mod do all the terrains as well? I wasn't trying to step on anyones toes.

Hi, I did not understand this mod. The mod allows to add a block of sand in the snow biome; a block of snow in the desert biome?
Should we start a new game to play this mod?
I look forward to your response!

Its always "recommended" to start a new game. I personally don't unless its an overhaul that absolutely requires it. I backup my save game and then load it. It's to prevent modders from troubleshooting mod conflicts that would take up too much time and avoid liability among other reasons.
      Onto the mod.
So lets say I wall in a POI. Now hoard night comes and because I didn't replace all the terrain with "player made blocks" Zombies can spawn inside my base. I found this a immersion problem.
Zombies had also bypassed my defenses which really sucked.
Bags and claim blocks don't stop hoard night zombie spawns.
So this mod is for people who want to keep the terrain, and keep the zombies from spawning on ground that is chosen.  The only downside is you have to replace the top layer with a block from my mod. It's the same amount of work as just replacing with blocks but this mod is for aesthetics.
Now about the biome allowed terrain.
I included most terrains because people build all over the map, what I was trying to say is that if you build in snow, clear the area you don't want zombies spawning on, but don't replace it with a block from my mod that the "snow biome likes" snow, gravel ,asphalt. It will automatically change the block to a snow block. So you cant clear a base in the snow and replace it with sand blocks, or burning forest blocks. The biome wont accept them and will default to snow automatically.
I hope this clear things up. Feel free to ask anything else you need me to clarify.

Thank you for answering so quickly and so precisely!everything is clear to me.
I understand 100% the reason for this mod, but unfortunately for me it's not what I'm looking for.
Let me explain: I'm looking for a mod that FINALLY gives the possibility of creating a block of sand in the snow/forest/wasteland biome; create a block of snow in the desert/forest/wasteland biomeExample: I want to create an underground beach (-35metres) in the snow biome & create an underground snow chalet (-35metres) in the desert biome. But it's IMPOSSIBLE (thanks Fun pimps^^)For the moment it is untraceable. But I'm looking
I would like to help you:
1- Currently on my game I use +35 mods^^, and I hate the reappearance of zombies a week later after emptying this same POi. and from an immersion point of view, it sucks. That's why, I use the Mod: StayClear => https://7daystodiemods.com/stayclear-no-sleeper-respawn-after-clearing-a-poi/
Take a look, it might help you
2- To facilitate your work, why not simply modify the sleeping block (ex: sleeping bag, bed...) which prevents the reappearance of zombies around? By default a bed is 15 blocks go modded => 200/300 blocks ^^
      Thanks and good luck!

Sorry my English is bad, I use google translate hehe (Oops). Peace!

Modifying bedroll and claim blocks only works for random spawn. It does nothing to stop hoard night spawns, you need to remove thier ability to spawn all together.
