I've just finished dealing with this error in my mod AutoRead and wanted to let you know it doesn't even need any code changes. A rebuild against the latest version of Assembly-CSharp.dll seems to do it.
I have nothing but praise for this mod! It significantly enhances gameplay immersion in a way that just makes sense. Let's be honest—how is it that our vanilla character can lockpick a safe but suddenly forgets how to lockpick a door? Sounds a bit sus, right? This mod addresses that oddity perfectly.
And for those stealth builds out there, breaking through a window with an axe and somehow not alerting a single zombie? Also sus. This mod brings the realism we've all been craving.
As a fellow mod creator, I wholeheartedly endorse this mod. I urge everyone to give it a try and show your support by endorsing it as well. The creator truly deserves it, and let's hope they keep this mod updated for all of us to enjoy!
NOTE: THIS MOD IS NOT SERVER SIDE THE CLIENT MUST GET THE MOD ALSO.
Wait... this mod does more than it says it does? You want to talk about sus... Its bad mod practice to not do that. Mods should only do what they claim, and spell out (roughly) what they do, otherwise, thats how we get mod incompatibilities, errors, and crashes.
@ravemaster99 I think you are misunderstanding. OP is saying that breaking through a window with an axe and not waking anyone (which is how the game works) is sus; and that adding the ability to pick locked doors like a stealthy person would really do (which this mod adds) is more immersive.
They aren't saying that this mod adds anything beyond what it says.

Seems like a fairly straightforward fix, maybe? Hoping it's just an update to the method call.

Doesn't work!
Does work!you just have to make sure that there is no mod that touches lockpicking speed in any way!
