Instruction for installation: download and install everything manually (by putting the zip files into the Steam "Mods" folder and extracting them, and bring out all 16 folders inside out into your 'Mods' folder), vortex and mod manager won't get all the files for some reason !!!
If you are missing "0_TFP_Harmony" in your mods folder, verify game files through steam.
Because this is intended as an overhaul, compatibility with other mods is unlikely/ untested.
There's no guarantee this mod will seamlessly blend into your current saves so backup your saves beforehand.

so i installed this by instruction to a t and all i get is errors cant even load in and the hole ui on the main page where new game and load game are it all messed up help please
I have started a new game, playing multiplayer with my son. My son had a great time watching a couple guys on YouTube do the 'Escape from New York' series, so we are trying that. We are having fun playing together. But, I'm struggling on a specific part.
Can someone please help me understand where to get the Toolset from, that is needed to craft the Workbench. The previous time I played this mod, it was not needed. I cannot seem to find any information regarding this, such as how to craft one, or if its a rare drop, or a quest reward.
Balance issues (21th april v1.4); - settings: Players: 3 Level: 50, gamestage 100 Difficulty: nomad, EXP: 200%, day 15, tier 2 quests unlocked Horde Z per player: 16, Other settings: default
The second horde night spawned about 10 wights, and over 3 nuclear zombies. This is at the forest biome. Sounds way too extreme for early game. Especially when all the loot is pistols at gamestage 100 forest biome, and trader rekt limited to green / blue weapons.
Every wight is replaced by the special tarkov outfit, this is too much.
Please change this to a 10% or less chance for a wight to have the tarkov armor, or make them biome dependent.
Multiplayer difficuly is bugged in the game itself, regardless of what mod you use. Check the official 7 days to die forums for confirmation. Tarkov overhaul makes it harder becuase there are fully armored wights, fully armored demolishers(these guys always carry a Tier 5 chest). The worst difficulty bug in terms of the overhaul is Tier 2 infested quests, you better have a strategy to deal with armored wights and demolishers
Missions against the horde should be thought out in principle - escape routes, mining passages, barricades. Grenades and an under-barrel grenade launcher, at least one barrel with armor-piercing cartridges, help a lot. With this approach, even missions of 5th-6th difficulty do not stop

cause its kinda punishing too much when you have to reset all your stats when you die.

No, for early game we want less armored wights, and not nuclear zombies at day 15 in forest biome. You dont see this in vanilla.
It cripples early game. We still manage, but exploiting game mechanics to make a capable horde base is not fun.
