having an issue where trader bob wont give more quests. im stuck on 8 out of 10 for tier 1 and he wont add more tier one quests. i even waited for the days to progress and still no more quests.
That's a developers issue. You may need to drop in a quest mod to resolve it. I could add another trader as an optional download if I get a number of people requesting it.
If anyone would also like to see a multi trader version of this map, please reply to this and let me know.
For the Compo version, I'll add a multi trader in as the default trader. Then all of the traders will be available at one location.
Multi Trader would be great, but seem like it would get crowded. Maybe one more would fix the problem? I used DM mode to reset the trader quests, but it only adds a single buried quest, after the quest reward for tier 1, it's still only a single T1 buried quest.
LOVE the map by the way. Very challenging, limited book resource is making it difficult. :)

Yes, I would like to see more traders. I cannot go past the 10 quests. He gives me the bike and all, but after that, he just gives me a dig supplies quest over and over, never advancing. I really love this map, but without progression, it's frustrating.
I don't play in VR. This map is excellent, though. Among the author's maps, I really liked Pumpkin, I consider Astoria to be the best map I've ever played (along with Hidden lights) and I'm really, really enjoying Parasite Cove. The missions are a real point of attention, as I suspected from both the map description and some of the comments. So I've taken steps to make the game extra special. But for the moment, level 50, I'm surviving in a game like no other. Around a hundred mods installed (including the mission list reset option).
Regarding Quests, I'm using the following at the same time:
Quest revamp
Trader quests addendum
Flogi's quests
Grim Tales
More quests
In just a few Resets, I've found enough to go on 4 missions simultaneously. Some of them can take place on the same POI. So far, so good. No issue at all. To get a proposition (from Bob) of 10 different missions during Tier 1 (we need choice !), I set More Quests to 30 missions, search at 1000 and 2000 m. Tier 2 is poorer, which surprised me. To get 10 different missions, I went up to 50 missions in the settings. We'll see about Tier 3 when I get there (Edit at T3: Bob is offering 10 to 15 missions per reset)
I quickly found myself in need of these inexpensive little boats that I usually only use for fun: https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/1015. Oakraven's balloon will certainly be helpful too. I worked hard on immersion, of course, with a dozen or so mods devoted to it.
Test it out, experience a new version of 7 Days and please congratulate the author: we need him!
That would be great but unfortunately the Descend mod isn't compatible with custom worlds until they make it compatible with Teragon, or through some other means to generate the caves in an existing map.

did you maybe placed "costum zombie Spawners" ?
Since even on DAY 1 or 2 i see during *daylight* feral zombies and even once saw a Demolisher
i dont have that with normal generated maps or Navsgame.

can it be that you add costum zombie spawns ?
since i have gotten on nomad difficulty , on day 1 , feral Zombies and even saw a Demolisher :,D
i mean it could be also due to the very squished biomes and such but still , was curious :,D
The first 4 quests he gave me POI missions though. I mannage to get tier 2 quests, beliving that would fix it, but no, it didn't.
Descending mod = which adds CAVES + Cave Pois .
