Wonder when the creator of this mod will one day log back into Nexus to update this mod.... Been awhile now and could have at least told the people who supported this mod that it is no longer in works.
You're new here so I'm going to be easy on you, but that being said, there are some things you need to learn before you start blasting mod authors on the Nexus, (or commenting at all on the Nexus for that matter).
1) Mod authors on the Nexus don't owe us anything. The sheer existence of mod authors at all is why the Nexus flourishes to begin with, regardless of how long they choose to support a mod for a game that they may or may not even play anymore.
2) Secondly, in the 18 months that you've been a member of the Nexus, you've only ever posted twice, have never created and/or shared content of any kind, uploaded zero images in support of a mod, you've received zero kudos in recognition for your participation, nor have you given a single mod endorsement to any mod that you've ever downloaded.
3) Lastly, people move on with their lives, they start families, they get new jobs, they have children, they stop playing video games, they graduate college, and a myriad of other factors that come into play that effect our allowable time spent on social online communities. This game updates a lot, it's challenging for some mod authors to keep up. Fact of life.
I'm not trying to bust your chops here, I'm just trying to point out that if you expect to have a valid voice within this community, especially when posting snarky comments about fellow community members, you should show a level of respect and etiquette.
Please endorse mods that you use, provide positive feedback, contribute when you're able, even if just uploading user-submitted images to a mod page, but most of all, be friendly. Mod authors really appreciate friendliness. These are the sort of elements that encourage mod authors to continue creating new content and updating old ones.
While i agree with you that blasting mod authors by someone who never did anything for any community is totally fked up, i can understand people who are dissapointed here. It's basically the only (or one of the few) mod that add's new items, or actually any content. It is dissapointing that the mod creator just discarded it, and dissapeared, leaving a nonworking mod behind. Big shame.
IMO the nexus admins should remove stuff that doesn't work since many months, and it's author hasn't been online since ages.
@NewThalos how can you be too old for video games? that doesn't make sense. no matter how old i am or what im doing in life all always make sure to have time to play video games
For all of you that wanted this to be updated, don't hold your breath. I worked on this mod with the author back when he made it. Guy was very unstable mentally and had some severe anger issues. Last I heard, he had gone back to jail in 2017. This guy was so unhinged, he would follow me and a few friends from game to game and server to server just trying to make life difficult. He did this for about 6 months before I heard about him going back to jail.
If you really want some of the stuff that was in this mod, see if valmod is still around. He stole 90% of the mod from him to begin with.
It would be a crying shame that this Author let this project go. It was fun, when it worked. Now it will just crash your game. I do hope that someone else Pick's this project up, Or the Original Builder updates these files...
It's outdated. and i did install this without reading comments. I also used Vortex. It messes up your game due to version. Best advice wait until it's updated if it ever does get updated.
I hope the developer of this mod really updates this, this mod really sounds one of the best among all the 7 days to die mods and it really sucks that it is outdated
warning: avoid this mod as of '23/06/18' this mod will screw your game. unable to launch world due to replaced/ missing content. thanks for the warning Author. ***hole.
I didn't download this BECAUSE it says last updated in 2016.,..Maybe pay attention next time instead of calling someone an asshole because of your own lack of common sense.
It might be hard for modders to do something with alpha games, they change a lot in every update... I hope the modding community will grow for this game though
hey mod creator I know you haven't been on in a long time but I really hope you get a new version of this and I really want to actually see the mod from the console it says something about "rock05" so that might have something to do about the bug lots of love -A banana
Any news about an update for this mod? I was looking for something that will diversify the game from the standard weapons which go boring after few days of playing and this was something that was looking for. I still have hope for the author that there will be an update for it.
