Add a give item command that lets you give yourself any item for free, a repair all items equipped and in inventory command, and a defecate command that lets you reset your urgency bar.
I discovered this mod not long ago but i want to know if there are any more commands added and if i use the commands on a multiplayer server will the other players in my server will also get the things i typed in the command
As a pre-requisite, you have to make sure that UE4SS is installed (their github can be found here https://github.com/UE4SS-RE/RE-UE4SS, as well as their installation guide in their description). Once you follow their installation, you should have a folder called Mods within the directory of "\AbioticFactor\Binaries\Win64". What you'll want to do then is to download and unzip my mod folder and then drag the extracted folder into the Mods folder. Then you will need to locate the "mods.txt" file inside the Mods folder and then add this line above the keybinds comments "UniChatCommands: 1". After all that, you should be able to launch the game and work. Please let me know if you encounter any issues!
I did everything you said, but I'm going to try to remove the other mods because they could be causing problems if it works, I'll come here to let you know
That could be a factor for why its not working, I just double checked and downloaded it myself and it seems to be working. Have you tried any other mods, do they work? If you look at the other mods for this game and go to their description, they also provide a detailed and in-depth guide on how to get the mods working.
Hey, this is a question more in relation to trying to problem fix and a suggestion for the mod, but, is there any way to make certain objects (placed, or dropped by bags) to be forcibly de-spawned? To give you the short run of the issue, one of my buddies was running this mod and at some point edited their save file, and made two items that didn't exist (as per the coding, anyways) and are now forever inside the base we use, is there any way you could implement a way to either package those items, instantly delete them, or something that would otherwise remedy the issue? (If not possible, apologies and sorry for wasting time)
Hi, I would like to preface this with that I most likely will not be able to solve this issue as I have no idea what I am doing. But, I am absolutely willing to try to help to troubleshoot! I would like more context on what the issue is, it sounds like to me that your friend was messing with the save files (which I have no idea how to edit or read) and now two items spawned at you base (which I am guessing may have been your friend's player location) and you can't package them or delete them. Is it a furniture item, something like a storage chest that is placed down by the player, or is it more like the gym equipment at the gym (i.e the stationary bikes that can not be interacted with at all and can't be removed)? Are you able to provide more details on what exactly your friend edited in the save file? Please let me know more information about this and its a very slim chance I'll be able to solve it, but I will try!
Apologies for the late reply, it is one of the composer chests, apparently he spawned it in using the save editing method, and once placed it couldn't be unplaced or built, it was a scrap of metal before being turned into a chest. It is probably messed up coding wise. Also, while I have you here (just arose yesterday haha) I lost the furniture store sword inside the pit of manufacturing where the soldiers are stationed. I threw it at an enemy (my bad) and it got plummeted down the pit. I tried jumping into it and grabbing it, using the vacuum from a distance, and even using a cloth rope and descending slowly into the pit while vacuuming, nothing. If there is a way to like, make objects come to you from a large distance, that would be neat if possible. Though, I am sure the sword spawns back in furniture anyways, so I am not too worried.
I'm terribly sorry, I'm afraid I won't be able to help you. I have no idea how the items even spawned and what the code would need to be messed with in order for it to spawn. As for the sword that fell into the pit, I am hoping that you get it back because I am not sure how to make items come to the player. I am fairly new to all of this so I am not really a seasoned modder, I apologizes for not being of help and hope you are able to fix the issue!
You are completely fine, thanks again though. I should mention that the way my friend messed with his save settings was using something called Rust, it is some sort of computer language, and a program named ue save editor that is I believe hosted on github. It allows for viewing specifically player save files (idk if anyone has tried messing with world stuffs) and changing certain values to get more of something etc. But yeah no, thanks anyways.
Could benefit from adding a command to set the expire time of buffs to an hour or 5 hours so they don't run out. Something like !BuffDur
On the other hand, a command that gives you all positive buffs !buff And a command to give each individual IS buffs (From exiting Hilltop, the train, the pools...)
As an extra, add the slow food loss buff for 1 hour to the !eat command.
Hi, thank you for your suggestion! I actually have yet to even dabble with buffs because of the way they are structured in the code, I can't seem to understand it at the moment. I am thinking of adding a command to provide the player with certain buffs but that is a long way from now. I will definitely add this to my to-do list though!
Thats a good question. So from what I have seen so far, when you toggle it on, and you don't craft anything, and then toggle it off, you don't gain or lose any recipes, you still have the recipes before toggling. But if you toggle it on, and then craft something, you will actually learn that recipe (along with 1 or 2 recipes that I am guessing that goes with it). When you then toggle it off after crafting the new recipe, you will have that recipe added to your list. If you encounter something different than this, please let me know!
A bit of a small side effect with the new 'freecraft' command. I noticed it was automatically building the stuff I placed down too, which was neat. But when I rebooted the game later all those things that had gotten autobuilt got changed back to unbuilt
Hi, I hopefully fixed this issue, I re-created this issue with some of the placements and was able to get them to stay after disconnecting and reconnecting as well as restarting the game. Please try the latest build and let me know if it fixes it, thank you!
