Adding ~ to F-104C mod and its Gunplay patch's .pak files' names should've worked, and it does on my end.
I presume you're also using Gunplay's ammo changer too? If you do, try removing it and use the one provided in the mod's compatibility patch pack. Don't forget to also check which type of the F-104C mod you choose and use the appropriate compatibility type.
My apologies for the very late response, but can you show me how the file is installed in your ~mods folder? I'm not sure how the issue persists on your end.
Hey im a little confused as to which files to use to combine this, Aces' choice, and the EA-18. Both these and the "Compatibility between add-on planes mods" files were updated very recentely so I dont know which info of what works with what is up to date.
the compat mod was updated more recently and syas these will break it and they do not include aces' choice. but this mods optional downloads do include it but list the compat mod as a requirement.
If you want to use this plane with Add-on Compatibility Mod, just use either Type A or B's main file.
As described in Compatibility Between Add-on Planes Mods' article section, you can create your own patch to make it compatible with Aces' Choice by editing that mod's PlayerPlaneDataTable file. Head to said section for further information.

Try to make the file priority of F-104 -Avril- and/or its patches' .pak files higher than said mods' by adding more "~" in front of their names.
