"This mod doesn't work/doesn't show up, the names don't appear in the aircraft list. Why?"
Most likely you've put the mod in the wrong directory. Check your Paks directory, make the ~mods folder and extract the file accordingly, make sure to check the tildes as well, which is explained below.
"This mod has a different ammo count and/or behaves differently and/or has a wrong aircraft name, why?"
The mod might use certain files that conflicts with other mods that also change ammo count and localization texts. These files are called "Datatable" and "Localization" files accordingly, and in order to give priority to this mod's datatable and/or localization, increase the amount of tildes (~) before the mod name.
Example: ~~~~Modname_P.pak
"This mod doesn't work with other add-on crafts!!"
Add-on mods use conflictive files, specially called Datatables. Make sure to download Sincerity's compatibility files for it. Also, read This article being posted on there. It'll save you a lot of time on setting up the compatibility.
"Can I upload your mod somewhere else?"
You can only do that with my consent. Anything else is strictly forbidden.
"Can I use some of your assets for my mod, please?"
Of course you can, but make sure to give me credit for the assets you're using. You're forbidden to reupload the models, unless they've been massively changed or leads to a completely different product.
"Can I request you on doing X mod or Y mod?"
Sure, if you pay me money for your request. I recommend you to contact me through Discord: megalith8492 in case you're willing to pay. Prices can be negotiated.
"Could you please add a compatibility pak for the rest of add-on aircrafts?"
Sorry, but that's up to Sincerity's compatibility files, as he takes care over the patches for aircraft add-ons. In case there's no compatibility yet, I suggest you to BE PATIENT and not put any sort of pressure towards him or myself.
In case you have a question different than the ones shown, or your situation hasn't been solved after trying everything you can, then make sure to send a bug report and explain in detail your situation, and I'll try my best to solve your problem.
Any comments like "Idk it doesn't work correctly" or messages without context will be inmediately closed and ignored.
I want to thank everyone for their support, and apologies for the constant updates. This marks the end of the mod's QoL updates, as most, if not all features of it have been refined.
Any bug report from now on, wouldn't be fixed until a certain time passes.
it always crashes my game when I select the moded planes. crash log says: LowLevelFatalError [File:E:\P4S3\bns_ws\update12\Nimbus\Main\UE4\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Private\GenericPlatform\GenericPlatformMemory.cpp] [Line: 183] Ran out of memory allocating 18446744071447838720 bytes with alignment 0 wonder what's happenning here
That error is not product of the mod, it might be something else such as your own PC specs, since the log doesn't show or pintpoint any file. Sadly, i've never encountered such error, it could also be your AC7 installation.
Skin slots doesn't seem to appear despite the following instructions
What have i done so far:
Installed new version of sincerity's files and everything related to them added/removed titles, giving it either higher or lower priority reinstalled addon itself tried to pin point which other addon could have caused it
edit: after deleting any other addons aside from yours and compatability files - nothing changed
Now I must put this mod in a subfolder and then put Sincerity's compatibility file in ~mods folder to run correctly, seem that this mod can't work singly. And I can't add other mods(XFA-24 skins) for this mod pack, game will crash in hangar page. I tried to place it in subfolder or ~mods but I am making a XFA-24 skin mod but always failed freezing the game. -------- Edit: Maybe I know how to mage the folder. Still finding how to make my mod available. I got it and fixing some issue now. Thanks! Now my ~mod folder is ~mods | |-ACXModels (folder) |-End of Deception |-fa24 (folder) |-mymod |-Compatibility file -------- I have finished it. Can I upload it?
Hallo, I just started modding this afternoon and I installed your mod because it semmed like the one with the most good stuff (i read so much stuff about compatebility so I just picked the mod with the most fancy looking aircrafts). So I started my game up as usual and started looking for the new crafst. And after scrolling down a while I found a couple new entries on the list, but thos wherent names those where a mixture of dots, weird symbols, asian symbols, phrases from the multiplayer descriptions from other jets, mission dossiers instead of a proper description and some stuff didnt even have a name (just some dots). But the the jets look hella cool man and they also handle very nicely (besides the two with the quad engines those just go ultra fast). Im gonna try reinstalling it now and I edit this message if that fixed it, if not than its still open. (before you ask I have my game on german and I had at the time only your mod stuff installed, but I had the unlock aircraft tree mod loaded before but deleted it before putting your stuff into the mods folder). EDIT: I reinstalled it several times and it works now.
Trying my hand at modding. I want to give the Cariburn the DArkstar's PLSL, but I don't see a corresponding "gun" slot for the Caliburn. Do I just swap over the pgun files?
Not a bug. Your file is conflicting with others. I've made an article on the Compatibility between add-on plane mods made by Sincerity. It explains how to make the add-on work with each other with it.
Hello Everyone I am here asking for help in 2 things: 1, I cannot load the mod, probably due to some compatibility errors with other mods, a few examples might lead me to figure out the problems if there are any, and 2; I cannot access that compatibility article on the plane compatibility mods, it just gives me an Https error so some help would be nice, it is a very intriguing mod, another thing is that I'm having general trouble with addon mods so if you cannot assist me it would be fine, please and thank you.
ok, so I've organised all the addon mods in these files and it still doesn't work, am i doing it wrong or is there another addon mod that breaks it, not Mig 31 M2, I've deleted it.
