Tried it a long time ago I enjoyed it a lot gonna try it again with all dlc's hope it works. I see people having issues, I had that fight over when starting new game so I came to the conclusion that it's to let me know he coming back for more :)
I pasted the graphics folder into Anno 1800/data folder. Its portrait appeared on the diplomacy screen but didn't attack when I loaded a saved game. It also removed one of my competitor's portraits. If I play the campaign, he (mentioned as a competitor) was defeated at the start of the game.
same for me, installed this mod and loaded a sandbox session that i had a couple of hours in already and leif shows up in the diplomacy menu but no ships ever show up in the world.
Great mod, lots of fun! I have to say, in my current game my ships and harbors are far too OP for poor Leif's suicide fleet. Strangest thing, on his third attempt, he actually sent his fleet to attack the pirate Anne Harlowe, all his ships heading straight to her pirate island. Though I trade with her on friendly terms, I refuse to become allied - so as not to be dragged into her constant wars with others - yet I found myself having to send my warships to defend her pirate island as Leif's fleet almost took her out of the game! (I know she'd come back eventually.) But still, me, defending a pirate. What a strange turn of events. (Whether an intentional element in the mod or not, it was good fun, saving her from the brink, and did keep me on my toes for the duration!) All his many attacks since have been aimed at my ships and islands and they fail to make a dent. Ah, well, maybe in my next new game he'll stand a chance.
This mod is somehow broken...When want start new game with no NPC at start(AI harbor on) u get( Victory condition) if u activate mod mid game Leif is in dip. menu but didnt saw him attack anything(his stats changing in dip. menu tho. I did correct install of mod as i do moding from anno 1401 all manualy!
Tried it yesterday but didn't do what most do just put the whole thing into mod folder, then today checked it out and had put 1 folder into the data folder, worked great but dam what a surprise, was at peace with everyone then suddenly I hear someone atacking me so I went check and holy crap, good thing I always prepare my islands with a good def and also lucky had all my boats there was gonna take someone's island and good drops. Great mod, but like someone said should've had a warning cause if they catch you unprepared you screwed they almost destroyed my artic post, even cheating had a hard time with 1 ship(god mode) and couldn't call the others because if I leave map I lose godmode, great mod, voted mod of the month.
Make sure you have installed the mod exactly like the installation instruction says - what is inside data goes into the game's (not the mod's!) data folder, the mod goes into your mods folder, similar to how MAUG mod is doing it.
I am sorry that I had to make it that way, but it was necessary this time around.
Thanks for a good mod.. I have a question. How can I edit the number of attacker ship? I looked for it in assest file, Can't find the right number. this is my favorite mod :)
Good afternoon Khali, I think I found how you could change the number of ships that can attack your island. below came from a portion of asset.xml , this is located somewhere below the file. if you use notepad++ its somewhere from line 510+ onwards
the line you need to change is the one with <MinAmount> and <MaxAmount>, the numbers in between them shows the minimum/maximum number of ships that will attack. just change the number whatever you wish and you good to go.

Thanks for a terrific and fun mod.
And his ships are also invisible.
Can this be solved.
A great mod by the way. ;)

Also this doesn't work in co-op/online play. He immediately eliminates himself (Competitor has been annihilated) and I don't know if he comes back.
